Natsu x wife!reader pt.2

The Dragneel Family exited the train at magnolia in high spirits. For once, Natsu wasn't puking his guts out; he hated traveling without Y/n because her nature magic could stop his uneasy stomach.

As the trio merrily walked down the street, each parent held one of Ignis's hands, swinging him up as they swung his arms. The little boy giggled and tried not to stumble over his feet.

Natsu couldn't stop smiling.

He missed this more than anything.

Just being able to hear his son laugh and see his wife marvel at the spring flowers of Magnolia brought back a pleasant feeling of nostalgia. It'd had been too long since he got to do this with them.

"Papa, Mama, are we going to go to the Magnolia flower festival this year?" Ignis asked.

"I don't know," Natsu said pretending to think. He looked over to his wife with a sly expression. "Are we Mama?"

Y/n rolled her eyes and resisted the urge to hit her husband upside the head.

In Y/n's home village, there was a major festival for each season. The spring was the flower festival. In summer was the fireworks festival. There was the harvest moon festival in the fall. And the new year festival in the winter. When Y/n joined Fairy Tail, she started the tradition within the guild and it ended up becoming a city-wide celebration. Y/n always loved it because it reminded her of the home she couldn't always visit.

"Of course we're going," Y/n said. "But we'll have to get you a new Haori and Hakama because I don't think yours from last year fits anymore."

"M'kay!"

"We'll have to get you one too, Papa," Y/n teased. "Since you burned yours in fight with Gray last year."

"That bastard had it coming," Natsu argued. Y/n rolled her eyes.

"Says the one who purposely launched fireworks at him."

"You gotta admit though. That was funny."

Y/n sighed. "I pray that Ignis won't pick up on your destructive habits."

Natsu only grinned. Putting Ignis on his shoulders, he intertwined. his fingers with Y/n's. When the group arrived at the guild, Natsu kicked the door open. Everyone stopped what they were doing and turned their attention toward the Dragneel family.

"Hi everyone! We're home!" Y/n said with a smile. Suddenly, four different people nearly tackled her. Happy sobbed into her chest. Levy, Cana, and Romeo nearly knocked Y/n off her feet. She smiled, wincing slightly from the injury on her abdomen.

"We missed you so much Y/n nee-chan," Romeo cried.

Y/n ruffled his hair. "I missed you all too."

A few weeks later, the festival arrived. Y/n and the rest of the girls decided to get ready for the it at Erza's place. There, she got to officially meet some and talk more with the new girls who had joined while she was away. Y/n hadn't gotten to because she spent most of the time recovering from the injury.

Natsu insisted on getting Ignis dressed with the rest of the guys, and while that gave Y/n major anxiety, she let him nonetheless.

"And... all done," Y/n said as she finished tying the obi for Wendy.

"Thank you Y/n-san!" Wendy cheered. Erza laughed "patting" Y/n on the back.

"Good with children, as always Y/n," said the scarlet haired female.

"It's just the motherly instinct in me," Y/n said rubbing the back of her neck sheepishly. "Ever since Ignis was born, I can't help but help out."

"Y/n, hate to break it to you, but you've always been like that since we were kids," Levy said fixing her Kimono.
