Here We Go Again ( Not Complete)

Chapter 4 : Pythagorean theorem

Walking into stats with cat and Evelyn should not have been so difficult. We had to walk outside of the building just to walk across campus to get to class on time. I made sure to hold on to Cats backpack the entire passing period.We eventually made it to class on time .

Cat walked Evelyn and I straight to the teacher , Mr.Miranda , a young ,skiny, looking guy with long curly black hair pulled back into a ponytail and with brown eyes and tan skin. "Hey Mr.M , these are the two new kids " Cat introduced us. Mr.Miranda looked us up and down ."Hey guys I'm the stats teacher , I'm pretty chill not too much homework and not too much class work . We learn something new every two weeks , and every Wednesday is a catch up day or freeday since it's a short day . All I ask is that you have a note book and computer access at home if not my class is open on fridays after school" he explains quickly as he hands us each a notebook with cartoon numbers on its cover.

Evelyn looks at him strangely . "Why the cartoon notebooks?" she asks. I nudged her arm with my elbow as a sign to not be rude . She gives me a look , "Ow" she says ,rubbing her arm with her hand . "Its alright "Mr.Miranda says to me "the cartoon numbers are on them to give a pop of color in your backpacks ". weird , I thought . "Ill seat you guys at Cat's group ,since it seems like you guys know each other " he says writing on a clipboard .

We make our way to a circular table where two other people a sat ,a boy and girl ,scrolling through their phones. Cat cleared her throat to get their attention . They looked up almost immediately . The boy had long ,raven black, hair tied back into a small man bun , tan skin , sharp jaw line and hazel eyes . He wore a plain white shirt ,and black jeans  . The girl had black hair with gray tips braided in two French braids , with light blue eyes and tan skin . She wore a gray off shoulder crop top with a black leather jacket and gray skinny jeans .

"Tony , Annalise , meet Daniel and Evelyn new kids from California " Cat introduced . The boy ,Tony pushed the chair next to him out for Evelyn to sit in . She sat in it , smiling at him ,"thanks" she said setting her stuff down . I took the seat in between Cat and Annalise ."So ladies and gentle persons" the teacher began ,earning a few chuckles from other students , "the Pythagorean theorem"

"That was uneventful "Tony says, in a husky voice , as the bell ring signaling the end of class.
"Agreed " Evelyn comments . Everyone leaves but no one goes to their next class they all go outside . "Um is there something going on outside ?" I ask no one in particular . "No its a thing we do at this school , it called 'Break' where the kids and teachers get a  15 minute break in between second a third period . Kids who don't eat breakfast , go to the cafeteria to get a small breakfast snack before class " Annalise explains . We never had anything like that in Cali  .

  "Hey did you guys find your lockers yet ?"Tony asks as we exist the building  . "We have lockers ?"Evelyn exclaims ."Uh yeah let me see your schedule , Ill show you where it is " he says . I pull out mine as does Evelyn . Almost immediately , Cat takes mine out of my hand and Tony does the same thing to Evelyn ."Oh shit , your my locker neighbor "Tony says ," follow me milady its not that far from here " he finishes ,putting an arm around her shoulder spinning her to the opposite direction . I arch my brow not happy with what I'm seeing. 

I'm about to turn around and say something when Cat  turns me back to face her . "Hey its cool ,I trust him he's not a fuckboy , " she says . "Yeah , the last girl friend he had cheated on him , and that was middle school " Annalise adds . I put my hands up in the air , gesturing my defeat . "Ok ok  ,I believe you guys " I say . "Good now lets look at where your ....Oh shit " She says stopping almost immediately , putting her arms in front of Annalise and I . "What the fuck Cat ?" Annalise exclaims . She looks up to follow Cat's gaze. "oh shit "she whispers . "Whats going on ?"I ask pretty confused . 

"Derek Harper and Valentina Calavera" Cat says
