Daniel's POV
"And that is why you dont want to go to Disneyland with my mother " Veir said . He was talking about the one time his mom took him when he was a kid and all she wanted to do was take photos and not go on any big rides . "Awe hey dont worry theres like this big class trip for only the asb class to Disneyland coming up in December . Maybe you can go then " Anna says .
Xaveir's eyes literally sparkle at the mention of Disneyland . "No way your kidding me right?" he asks in disbelif . She shakes her head no . "Have I mentioned how much I love this school " he comments . "You have only been here for like three days " she points out . "And it is enough for me to love it "
The bell rings signalling the end of school . "Uh finally , so are we gonna do what we usually do for your birthday ?" he ask. "What do you guys usually do ?" Anna ask while packing up her stuff. "Well when his dad was gone , we would usually race at the tracks ,but when he was here they would watch lame Halloween movies "Veir answers as we leave the class room . I thwat him on his forehead . "Ow what was that for ?" he ask rubbing the spot I flicked .
"Uh racing is illegeal dumbass " I remind him .
Back home Xavier used to race illegally for money when his mom wasn't around . People used to bet on him to win and he never dissapointed anyone . He knew he loved racing when his dad took him to see one for the first time , then his dad taught us how to drive . I never took up racing because I didnt think I was that good . But he was amazing . After his dad died , he left his old Challenger in Xavier's name for his sixteenth birthday . To cope , he would fix it up and take it racing.
He thwats me back on my forehead . "Ow what was that for ?" I grumble . "My friend "he starts throwing an arm over my shoulder ," that was back in California . Now we are in the beautiful city of ."he turns to Anna and ask "Where are we again ?" She chuckles . " Auburn , and its a town not a city " she reminds him . "Right , sorry . We are in the beautiful TOWN of Auburn , Washington . We dont know if its illegal here or not " he continues .
"It actually is illegal to race here , and to race legally , you have to pay big money " Anna informs him .
We blink at her . "What , my brother used to race out here , he got good money too " she defends . Suddenly , a pair of hand slap themselves on my shoulder , and Cat jumps infront of me . "What's up birthday boy " she says . "Nothing much what about you Kitten " I say to her . " Did you just call me a kitten ?" she asks confused . "Yeah cause your name is Cat , so my nick name for you is Kitten " I answer .
She blushes a little and tries to cover it up by putting her hands over her face . "Awe Danny and Cat sitting in a tree . K-I-S-S-I-N FUCKING HELL " Xavier groans leaning against the locker for support . "Oh shut up , you need to learn to pay attention "Evelyn comments . "You hit me in my no no square bitch " he groans . "Hey " I say in a warning tone .
"She threw her fucking bag at me while I was singing about how - OWW" he groans again when she slaps him . "Alright messege sent , Tony come get your abusive girlfriend " he pushes her away from him gently . "First , I'm not his girlfriend and second I'm not abusive " she argues , which starts a whole arguement .
In the corner of my eye , I see Tony's huge grin turn into a soft smile when she says that she isnt his girlfriend . "So what is the plan for today ?" I ask changing the subject . Cat and Anna smile at eachother .
