Chapter 15 : Tell Me More Tell Me

Yuri's POV:

   Poor Sayori looked so troubled, she kept glancing at Naomi and Monika with pained eyes. I was going through my own turmoil. If not for the kids I would have most likely kissed Natsuki last night. Which wouldn't be the worst thing ever but I didn't deserve it. I had hurt her... ruined everything. She shouldn't just forgive me like that... It wasn't right!

   "Cupcakes cupcakes cupcakes!!!" Rosie exclaimed bouncing around Natsuki enthusiastically as said pink haired woman grunted and poured herself a mug of coffee.

   "Uh huh, sure kid." She grumbled obviously not aware of what she was agreeing to as she sipped the cup moodily. I smiled at that. God she was so cute. Even still.
   "No more sugar, especially this early pup." Monika instructed handing Sayori a cup of Cocoa, which she still preferred to coffee and tea.

    "Mama mama mama mama mama mama!" Benny cried out nearly knocking over an uncharacteristically quiet Naomi over in his mad dash for his mama.
  "Benny Benny Benny Benny Benny Benny Benny!" She teased setting her mug on the counter as she stooped down picking up the little guy with a giggle.

  "Mama, I wanna go sledding!" The little boy exclaimed throwing his arms up in excitement.
   "Hmm I don't know, what do you think Moni?" She turned to Monika with a excitable smile and Monika was sipping her coffee trying to hide her smirk.

   "Mama I wanna sled too!" Denny exclaimed wrapping his arms around Sayori's legs. I smiled, they were so sweet. Natsuki mimed gagging as she continued to sip her own coffee, still looking half asleep.

   "Sled sled sled sled!!" Rosie chanted happily and I smiled. If only I hadn't thrown it all away. Maybe Natsuki and I could've had this.
   "Yuri you're coming right?" Natsuki asked with a hopeful smile I shook off the images I'd been daydreaming about, and I knew there was no way I could keep doing this, I  didn't deserve her.

   "Yuri please!" Benny whispered and I shook my head.
   "I don't think I will, but thank you for the invite." I muttered and suddenly Naomi was animated and she jumped from her chair.
  "I don't feel like sledding either so me and Yuri can just stay here!" She exclaimed looking at me pleadingly.

  "Aw come on you two don't be buzzkills!" Natsuki grunted and I avoided eye contact with her. Then Naomi leaned in real close and whispered.
   "I really want to know the ending of the story you started ...." she was giving me a pleading look. Sayori however shook her head.

  "If one of us goes sledding then we all go sledding. That includes you and your aunt Yuri." She gave me a look that said be the good example.
   "I guess we're being coerced Naomi... " I grumbled and Naomi sighed and so I added softer, so she could only hear. "But I'll tell you the rest of that story later okay?" Her eyes brightened and she nodded.

.....................ten minutes later...........

   "Why did I agree to this?!" I complained as I dug through my stuff looking for something remotely close to sled worthy. Naomi giggled from her perch on the lower bunk, she was wearing a black coat and pink sweater underneath.
  "Cause mama gave you the puppy dog eyes, no one but grandma can resist those eyes." She chuckled and I smiled.

   "Guess I'll just wear my jacket and a thick sweater." I murmured tiredly and Naomi giggled again. I turned to look at her putting my hands on my hips. "What's so funny?" I demanded playfully and she smiled.
   "No way will Natsuki or mama let you go like that." She giggled kicking her legs back and forth leisurely.

  "Well I'm an adult so they can't force me, besides I forgot to pack a winter coat." I admitted and she still just shrugged in amusement.

.................. twenty minutes later...........

   "Where's your coat Yuri?" Sayori asked the minute I started for the door. I smiled, I mean come on, I'd been through worse than hypothermia.
   "I think my sweater and jacket will suffice." I reasoned moving closer to the door, Sayori frowned at me.
   "Who's ready to SLED!!!???" Natsuki chanted as the three little ones chanted.

  "Sled sled sled sled"

I smirked at her fluffy white coat and pink hat and gloves. She was wearing snow pants and thick pink and black boots. The twins were in yellow and green snow pants and both had blue coats. Their little snowman boots were adorable and their blue and red mittens were even more cute with matching hats. Rosie had a thick pink kitty cat coat and looked like a little marshmallow. Her mom placed a thick wool hat on her head and thick gloves on her little hands.

   "Yo Yuri I thought it was established that you were going to come?" Natsuki questioned giving me a disapproving look. I rolled my eyes. Why did Naomi have to be so right?
   "I am going." I exclaimed and she smiles.
   "Oh well what're you waiting for? Go get your coat and junk!" She exclaimed and I inwardly cringed.

   "This is what I'm wearing." I defended myself and Natsuki gave me a look of disbelief.
   "You're joking right?" She demanded and I sighed.
   "No I am not joking, I'll be fine, but I appreciate your concern." I tried and then Sayori had to back her up.
   "Yuri what if you get sick?" She asked and I sighed.

   "I think you look great Yuri, stupid but great." Naomi exclaimed joining me.
  "Speaking of where are your snow pants Naomi?" Monika asked and Naomi sighed.
   "I have a coat and boots I'll be fine mom " she complained and I let out a breath of relief, now they'd all focus on Naomi and I could just sneak away.

   "You didn't bring a coat did you Yuri?" Natsuki questioned and I sighed softly. Of course she remembered.
  "No." I admitted lamely. Natsuki scoffed then reached out taking my hand she lead me to the stairs leading up to the attic. I was blindsided by the fact she was holding my hand that I numbly let her guide me up the stairs.

  "There's a box of coats here see." She gestured to a box releasing my hand. When I made no move to even look at the box, Natsuki sighed and started digging in the box.
  "Natsuki?" I murmured as she threw aside a yellow coat and some sweaters.
  "Eureka!" She yelled and pulled out a thick puffy red coat. Carefully she slid it on my shoulders, over the top of my jacket and sweater and zipped it up. "There now you won't freeze " she stepped back with a pleased smile.

  "I look ridiculous." I grunted glancing at myself in the mirror and Natsuki laughed softly.
   "I think you look hot..." I blushed, my face burning under her compliment.
   "Well thank you I am quite warm." I whisper and she smirked.
   "Not what I meant Yuri, now come on let's go!" She jumped down the stairs and I hesitantly followed after her.

  The minute I stepped into the living room, Sayori assalted me with a bright yellow knitted hat, that she tugged onto my head. I chanced a glance at Naomi who was pouting in her bright pink snow pants, purple gloves and thick coat.

   "Alright Mimi, you need a hat too." Sayori exclaimed pulling on a white kitty cat hat, that matched Rosie's, except the toddlers was pink.
   "No way! I already put on the snow pants!" Naomi exclaimed in irritation and Monika picked up the discarded hat carefully.
  "Naomi, we would like to go sometime today. Please put on the hat and let's go. "

.....................ten minutes later...........

  I sat on the sled carefully as little Rosie sat in my lap. Swiftly I pushed off from the hill and screamed delightfully as we sailed over the hills of snow.
   "Yuri owie!" Rosie whispered and at first I thought she had hurt herself but then I realized she was lifting my sleeve, my breath hitched, one of my fresh cuts was bleeding.
  "Shi- shoot."
