Monika's POV:

I was freaking out, I mean I run to the sound of my daughter's scream and find my wife out cold. Sure she woke up fairly quick, like ten seconds tops. But my heart still was beating quickly.

"What happened Ori?" I whisper as  I held her in my lap and she shook the fainting spell from her mind.
"I...I was looking out the window... I saw..." She whispered softly into my ear, so no one could hear and I stiffened.
"Really?" I asked holding her closer and she nodded.
   "What would-"
"I donno, but let's get you to the couch to rest." I insist and she rolls her eyes playfully.

"Alright Moni, if it helps calm you down...but I'm fine." She promised and I sigh.
"Sorry Sayori but you are resting, Yuri and Monika and I will finish up dinner." Natsuki promised and I smiled at my friends.

"Oh my goodness, Naomi you're bleeding!" I looked to my daughter and saw the blood trickling down her forehead. However to my confusion she glanced down at her wrist.

  The Next Day ...

     Naomi's POV:

After resting on the couch, nonstop for the whole day and last night I was annoyed. My mom woke me up every half hour to check for a concussion, so I was tired and irritable. I could tell Yuri wanted to talk, but I couldn't exactly do that with my mama sitting next to me and my mom breathing down my neck.

I sighed rubbing my eyes tiredly and my mama reached out tucking a strand of my hair behind my ear.
"Are you sleepy Mimi?" She whispered and I frowned bitterly.
"Yeah cause someone didn't let me sleep at all last night!" I spat glaring in my mom's direction. She just challenged my look with a raised eyebrow and smug smirk.

"Aww is little Nomi cranky?" Natsuki patronized in a mocking baby tone. I glared at her darkly.
"Fuck off!" I snapped and she laughed and my moms looked royally pissed off at my choice of words.
"Hahaha I'll take that as a yes!" She giggled enthusiastically and my mama grabbed my wrist yanking me across the couch and glared at me.

"Naomi Lila apologize to your aunt Natsuki right now!" She commanded and I scoffed yanking my wrist back.
"Why she thought it was funny!?" I said defiantly and she gave me a tired look.
"I don't care if she did or not, she's your elder you need to be respectful!" She persisted and I rolled my eyes.

"Whatever!" I snapped and suddenly Natsuki looked stern.
"Don't be a smart ass kid." She snapped and I stood.
"Sorry you're so annoying." I started past them for the bathroom. Grateful that Yuri was outside with my brothers and sister building a snowman. Natsuki had been with them but had come inside after Denny supposedly assalted her with snowballs.

"Naomi attitude, apologize to your mama and your aunt right now!" My mom snapped and I responded by slamming the bathroom door. I mean come on, adults don't make other adults apologize to each other. Most of the time. I sat down against the door, feeling awful.

It'll make you feel better Naomi

I slowly opened the bottom drawer of the sink and lifted the tray holding floss, pulling the blade from underneath and held it in my shaking hands. It gleamed in the bathroom light and I looked at my pitiful reflection.

It's not worth fighting Naomi, you're weak, you're pathetic, you're a nobody, you don't belong anywhere

I brought down the blade.

Yuri's POV

I herded the three kids inside, they were all soaked, they'd definitely need a bath or a change of clothes at the very least. I shut the door and saw Sayori looking sad and Monika looking annoyed and Natsuki a cross between pissed and amused.

"What's going on mommy?" Benny asked tilting his head as he eyed them.
"Little Monika is in a mood because she's cranky and sleep deprived. She locked herself in the bathroom and is sulking." She chuckled and my stomach dropped and my heart stopped.

"Mama we need a bath!" Rosie exclaimed bouncing in place. "I'm wet!" She whined and Monika scooped her up.
"Come on rascals let's go!" Monika started leading them towards the master bedroom and Sayori followed, much to Monika's displeasure.

I swiftly raced to the bathroom door and knocked insistently.
"Naomi sweetheart you okay?" I pressed my ear to the door and listened for any sort of noise. All I could hear was her ragged breathing. This was not good. This was not good.
"Naomi please open the door, let's talk Naomi, let's just talk. Please open the door and talk to me." I begged and Natsuki came up next to me. I cringed she was going to be out of the dark soon.

"You wanted to know what MC said to me?" Her voice is pained and tearful and I watch Natsuki's expression darken considerably and she gives me a questioning look. I look away quickly.
"Sweetheart." I whisper trying to warn her of Natsuki's presence but she interrupts me feverishly.

"He said that I'm not my moms' child, that I don't belong anywhere... that I'm a freak... I'm not Monika's or Sayori's...I'm a nobody..." She whimpers and I could just slap him. MC really did get his happiness from the misery of others.

"He was wrong Naomi, he was horribly wrong. MC is stupid and doesn't have a filter. " I tried, even though I knew that I was being hypocritical.
"If that were the case you wouldn't have listened so closely to him. You wouldn't have left everything behind just because of what he said to you!" She murmurs painfully and accusingly. I sigh and Natsuki is starting to piece together what Naomi is saying.

"Naomi you're smarter than me, you're better than I am." I whisper and she sniffs and the door clicks open, my eyes widen at all the bloody cuts that drip down her arms, there's a dozen or more.
"Shit." Natsuki exclaims and Naomi looks at me pitifully.

"I'm not better, you're smart, beautiful and wonderful... You had a girlfriend, you have a job ...I'm nobody.." she sobbed and I scooped her up carrying her farther into the bathroom. Unfortunately Natsuki followed after us and shut and locked the door.

"Yuri what is she talking about?" Her voice is pained and tearful, but firm. She's on the border of masking all of this with anger.

   "Now isn't really the-"

"NO, now is the perfect time Yuri!" She snaps and I kneel in front of Naomi but she shakes her head at me.
"You two need to talk. I'll just wait."
