Stray ((NCT hybrid AU))

     Doyoung stood up and hugged onto the candle. He gasped as he looked over his shoulder. He was being held over the sidewalk, and that was a long fall.

     Doyoung felt something stick in the back of his neck.

     He grew weaker with each passing second.

     His eyelids grew heavy and gripped loosened.

     Doyoung slowly plummeted toward the ground    

     Doyoung's body hit the ground with a loud thud. His body lifted from the impact before falling back down with a thud.

     Chenle screamed at the top of his lungs. He sobbed uncontrollably, crying out for his hyung.

     Jungwoo knelt down beside Doyoung and shook his unconscious body.

     "Come on hyung! Doyoungie! Please wake up" Jungwoo pleaded.

     The citizens of the town began to stare as the hybrids sobbed. Jungwoo, Ten and Sicheng were desperately trying to awake their friend but it was no use. There was no sign of life other than his slow, barely moving pulse.

     "Doyoung" Kun said absentmindedly.

     His voice wavered as it was pushed pass the lump in his throat. That single word was all that took for Kun to break down and sob, watching in horror as Doyoung's body flailed in Jungwoo's grip. Kin screamed and cried, looking like he was going insane. 

     Obviously the three younger hybrids were crying just as much. Chenle was barely breathing at this point. 

      "HYUUUNG!!!" RenJun screamed between sobs "HYUUUUUUUNNG!!!"  

     Donghyuk was on his knees now, sobbing into his hands. 

     "YOU MONSTER!!!" Sicheng screamed at the hybrid control officer.

     Tears streamed down his face and his eyes were wide with anger and pain.

     "HE WAS ONLY 22!! NOW HE COULD BE DEAD!!" He continued "WHAT'S WRONG WITH YOU??!!! MY BEST FRIEND IS DYING!!... A-AND *sob* IT'S ALL YOUR FAULT!!!"

     Sicheng started sobbing again.

     "W-What did we ever do to you?" he asked shakily.

     People began talking amongst themselves, watching the scene go down, some even recording it.

     "HE'S RIGHT!!!" another voice spoke up.

     It was a muscular male with blonde hair that faded into red.

     "YOU PEOPLE ARE SICK!!! YOU'RE JUST LETTING THIS HAPPEN ALL FOR WHAT??! BECAUSE THEY HAVE EARS AND TAILS?!!" He shouted "I'M NOT JUST TALKING TO THE OFFICERS EITHER I'M TALKING TO EVERY FUCKING ONE OF YOU!!!"

     They boy took a deep breath and pointed at the hybrids.

     "THIS ISN'T OKAY!!! THIS SICK AS FUCK AND YOU'RE ALL JUST STANDING AROUND AND WATCHING!!! YOU'RE USELESS!!!" He continued.

      "STAND UP DAMMIT!!! WE NEED TO PUT AN END TO THIS SHIT!!!" He finished "SO WHO'S WITH ME??!"

     People in the crowd, one by one began to raise their hands, chanting and demanding that hybrids have freedom. The hybrids were sat in the middle of the crowd, trembling and still crying as they looked around at the people. Several other hybrids stepped in to help with the group of hybrids 

     An ambulance was even called to help even though many hospitals denied to assist hybrids. The hybrids were put in the back of the ambulance but the riot continued.

    The hybrids all sat in worried silence though some of them still cried. 

     All they could do was hope for Doyoung to survive...

     The hybrids sat in the waiting room anxiously. 

     Their owners had been called and told of the events so they were there as well.

      No one spoke as they were all stressed and worried about their little bunny. It felt like hours though it was only a few minutes when they were called back to see him.

     The boys jumped up and ran to Doyoung's hospital room. Doyoung was sat up on the bed, staring blankly at the bed. 

     "Doyoungie!" Chenle beamed, hugging him.

     Doyoung giggled and hugged him back.

     "He made a miraculous recovery! His hybrid blood made him heal much faster. For an average person this could've taken weeks" The doctor explained. 

     Taeyong listened closely.

     "Thank you" Taeyong nodded at the doctor.

     The doctor was quite tall and handsome and was quite thin, having pastel pink hair that complimented his tan skin.

     "Of course" He smiled "My name is Hyungwon, let me know if you ever need help with your hybrids again"

     "Will do" Taeyong smiled, shaking his hand firmly.

     The doctor left the room but some one else came in. It was the boy that started the riot.

     Jungwoo suddenly hugged him tightly, making him jump.

     "Thank you! Thank you! Thank you~" He repeated.

     "It was nothing really! We have a kitten hybrid of our own and I can't imagine what I'd do if something like this happened to our little Changkyunnie" The boy said, patting Jungwoo's back "My name is Wonho"

     The boys all introduced themselves.

     "Well... I should head out but uhm..." Wonho paused.

     "Trust me when I say things will change for hybrids pretty soon"
