"I agree with Joanna, I was no one until I did what I needed to survive and be who I am now. Yes we aren't able to do anything but we can do is fight. A woman is strong when she fought for what she wants."

"Running the business is no place for a woman. Alexander, you have your son and he can run this town and the other districts, alongside him his wife. What can you do, you have a gun but no idea how to put it together, know the model, how many rounds and most of all, not know how to use it." He laugh as if he thinks he won, furious, Juliette calmed herself and took out the gun in pieces and put it together again with no problem, stood her position and shot six rounds, hitting the wall, surprising everyone instead of Joseph who smoking his cigar, Renny unfazed and Elijah, stunned and kept his eyes on Juliette, his wife. He couldn't help but smile a little, good to know that she can handle herself very well.

Juliette was focused, her eyes on the target, and kept her eyes on Maverick as he turned to see where she fired. The wall, the bullets on the floor and the bullets hit the wall all together.
Joseph was proud of Juliette, the moment Juliette turned 10 years old, he taught her the basics of how to use the gun, took her to show her how it works. Taught her to shoot if she's in danger, Joseph even took her to show her how to shoot a man, witnessing her father killing a man who refused to pay him back. As his only child, Joseph did everything he could to ensure his daughter would be safe and defend herself.

Juliette never took her eyes off of Maverick, she wanted him to know who she is, not just a defenseless little girl who needs to be rescued. Not a weak woman. "The Silver Gun Hypothesis, new model for a sustainable  carbon economy. Six rounds, you saw me how to aim and how's that for a weak woman?"

"Juliette!" Margaret was furious to witness such a thing, her niece firing a weapon, Juliette acting so foolish, she didn't rise Juliette this way. "Where did you learn to fire a gun?!"

I ignore my aunt and turned to my father, this was a shocked but I'm honored to one day take over as Boss and lead the company. "I'm honored to accept this gun, as a MacGregor. I may look like someone who isn't able to run thia business or city but I am capable of doing so. My father taught me everything, wielding this gun and to take charge. Now, shut up and listen! The money will go to Districts 6 through 15 as planned."

"You can't be serious. As if we're going to do that, we don't have the money for that."

"Actually we do, we made too much in the last two years and I already did some work and we can give some to the people in that district. Underestimate me all you want but I already thought these things through and it works."

"Jones, Gonzalez, you've quiet, what are your thoughts?"

"I'll tell you what I think, is that we should not underestimate women. Trust me, it never works out. My time in the business had taught me to be careful about the women because who knows, they will take your life and take your money. You fired with ease and you know your way, I like to see how it goes with you owning the business."

"Gonzalez."

"Agreed with Jones because, you have the eyes of a fighter. I've seen women being used and beaten around the district and don't have the courage to do anything. Women who don't have a choice, but using they're bodies to get what they want. Rebecca Austin, I know you work with Joanna and her club, I see you as a tough woman, you came from District 40, same with you, Sullivan."

"Not District 40 but close. Distinct 37."

"A woman like yourself is tough, what do you use to protect yourself?"

"So glad you asked, I use everything. And I mean everything as I always carry my knives, daggers, peper spray and even my own gun. Working as a stripper can be scary. Especially with what happened with five girls in that area a few weeks ago. I even showed Juliette to protect herself, show her what she needs to do. Yes it's a dangerous world but I've seen worse back at in my District. Juliette can handle anything, and she won't be alone as she has me, and her husband. Juliette can be a boss."

"That's all I need, Juliette, you are like your father when your angry."

"This buisness will go down in flames when you take over, girl. You won't make it."

"Enough! I think you said enough, Maverick. Not only you disrespect my father in law's house but no one will disrespect my wife. I did not know she knew how to wield a gun, but I'm glad she does because it put me at ease knowing whenever I'm not around, she can protect herself, she isn't a weak woman, she's strong and I won't have you talk down to her!"

"I must say, I'm impressed with Juliette firing the gun at the wall, it was perfect and she did well, I've seen enough. Joseph, thank you for this great dinner and you have my vote for what's done to the district. But remember give us half of our money."

"Yes Joanna."

"Same with me, I got to go."

"There'll be more of this occasion and expect me to come again, Joseph, again I'll say it, it will go up in flames."

"Watch it, Maverick. You better know who your dealing with."

Everyone started to leave the estate, Margaret was furious and demanded to speak with Joseph, leaving Juliette with Elijah, Flynn and Renny.

"Let's get some fresh air, this dinner did some good."

The air was nice, not too cold or windy, Elijah took off his jacket and put it around Juliette, it wasn't cold but you can never know. "Thank you for standing up for me. I thought I was really going to shoot him if you didn't say anything."

"I just couldn't stand him talking shit about you or Joseph. He doesn't come for dinner but he does come over to discuss some business, sometimes I won't be there and sometimes I stay in the room to listen. You were good back there, defending yourself and the things you said about giving money to Districts 6 through 15, I wanted to help them but I never thought we had the money to do so."

"I've been talking to my father about that for some time now, I went through everything and it's enough. We can do it and I want to help them. And help Districts 26 through 40 as well."

"It'll be great to help everyone, give back. But it won't be easy."

"I know but we gotta try. You were very happy to received the pocket watch, what's the story?"

"Well, my mother bought the watch for my father on his birthday and he may not admit it to anyone other then us by he was very happy and grateful with what she got him."

"Now you have the watch to remember your mother."

"Yes and no. I do have something else from her that I will cherish. I hope we can do alot for the other districts because I've been at that side of the districts and it's not good."

"Renny told me so much about District 40 and how it was never easy. How she got out of it, who knows. But Flynn, is he really from District 37? How did you two met?"

"That's a long and weird story but let's just say, I trust Flynn with my life. And the same time, I take a bullet for him and he would do the same. What about you and Renny?"

"Same with yours with Flynn. Long story but Renny has been there for me and I'm grateful to  have her by my side."

With everyone left the dinner, Margaret slam the door and confronted Joseph as he smoked his cigar, annoyed with Margaret raging on about the dinner.

"The moment Juliette was born and Charlotte died, I promised her that I will look after her, raise her to be a proper young woman, with no violence! How dare you show her how to use a gun! I should've taken her and raise her myself!"

"And let you take my only child away from me? I won't lie but I'll shoot you if you did. Juliette is my only heir and yes I taught her everything, even show her how to shoot. I taught her to be a strong and dependable young woman, she will do great things."

"Juliette will not take over, Elijah will. Juliette should worry about having a family and shouldn't worry about this job."

"Enough! As long as I'm the boss around here, do what I say. Juliette will take my place when I stepped down and you will not stop her. What's done is done."

"You'll regret this." Softly whispered so he wouldn't hear. Something is about to happened, something that will change everything.
