Juliette's POV

After what happened at the party a few days ago, I want it to let it pass and forget the whole scene that happened. Though it can't because I've been reminded of it every time that Margaret bring it up. I was calmly sewing a shirt of Renny when she came in with her usual stern and disapproval look. I ignore it as I continued my sewing.
"I don't like that girl, I don't appreciate her causing a scene like that. How dare she act so reckless and inappropriate! Someone like her shouldn't be in that party."

"And I don't appreciate you talking bad about her. Doesn't matter if she was invited or not, she is allowed to come if she wants to."

"That girl embarrassed you in front of everyone! Acting all high and mighty and think she can do whatever she wants. You should've met someone else to be your friend then that..."

"Margaret. Watch what you say, you can talk bad about Renny when I'm not here. But do not talk down to Renny."

"Where are you going?"

"Out. I need some time for myself."

"Juliette!"

I had to get out of there, Margaret has been on my back since the party, looking for me everywhere and asking me where I went. She really didn't want Renny to come around anymore but that didn't stop Renny from doing that. I couldn't see Renny because she's working and I thought I would enjoy the day alone. I always carry my black beanie so my red hair wouldn't stick out. I went to my favorite cafe and relax as I see everyone walking by and let the world go by. One of these days I would see more then just staying in this city. The books I read had everything and the picture, I will go far and see everything.
I was enjoying my time when someone tap my shoulder and surprise was Cassandra sat down in the chair next to me.
"I didn't expect to see you here, what a surprise. How are you doing today, Juliette?"

"I was having good time before you came."

"Let's start over. Can we? I know I acted harshly towards... Your friend. I shouldn't have said those things to her. I mean, someone like her shouldn't be there in the first place."

"If this is about how you acted harshly at my friend instead of insulting her, I better leave."

"No wait. Your right. I'm sorry, really I am. Please stay and let's start over. Look I'm sorry how acted towards her, the dress was expensive but it wasn't nothing special. How you been, Juliette? Good?"

"Been good. How are you, Cassandra?"

"I've been doing well actually. Well not really, I'm worried about my father, he's waiting for your father and father in law to see if they're going to support this company and help him with it. It's been hard on him and I thought, since you're going to be boss, you can help him."

"No can do."

"What? Why not?"

"I can't do anything without my father's word. Yes I am next in line to be boss but while my father is around, he gets to say what to do with it. Be grateful I didn't order to end his life."

"Yes I am grateful. Thank you for that but please talk to your father about it. And again I'm sorry what I said about Elijah. Though I cannot lie, it's going to be true anyway."

"Cassandra."

"What? Look, I see it in your eyes that you don't love him. Just end it so you can live your life."

"You really think your going to have Elijah back into your life? Cassandra, we talked about what happened and he doesn't want you. He's married. Or are you really that desperate to ruined a marriage?"
