The news about Joseph being in the hospital for collapsing in his office worried Juliette. Once the car made it to the hospital, Juliette hurried inside to see her father. He was awake and alive. Juliette ran towards her father and gave him a hug. "I thought for the worst, and I know I shouldn't be allowed to think that. What happened?"

"Nothing happened."

"Joseph! It was your blood pressure that got the better of you. I swear..."

"Enough Margaret. Dad."

"It's nothing to worry about, Little Rose. I'm fine and Healthy."

"Joseph."

"Oh good, my son in law. Good to see you two together for me. Juliette I'm fine."

"No your not. I was worried about you."

"We both were, Joseph. What happened?"

"He was eating too much and collapse in his office. Good thing I went to check on you."

"I'm fine now. How was your trip to the districts?"

"It was good."

"I saw enough to say that I'm going to change it. But for now, you better rest and stay for a few days. As temporary Boss, do you understand me, Joseph?"

"Yes I understand. Margaret don't make a fuss over it. She stood her ground and say what's needed to say. You will listen to Juliette for the time being. This will help you when I'm not around."

"I still think Elijah can take over being Boss. Elijah you..."

"Margaret! What's done is done. Juliette."

"Have two men stand guard outside of my father's room for a few days, have Roy and Dante do it. Matteo you take Lorenzo and Samuel take security outside of the hospital."

"You got it."

"Yes Boss."

Elijah saw Victor entering, had his eyes on him, he can't be trusted.

"Victor, take my aunt home."

"Yes Juliette."

"I still prefer Elijah being Boss, Juliette."

"It's not your say."

"A good match. Now let's go, Joseph needs his rest."

"Agreed. Rest for a few days, Dad. Get your strength back."

"Take care."

Elijah put his arm around Juliette as they left the hospital, bad timing as his phone started ringing and it was Cassandra. Groaning in frustration, he told Juliette he had to do something and he should be back later.

"I see you later, I have to deal with something."

"Go ahead. I have some work to do and head to bed."

"Flynn."

"Let's go."

"You gonna be OK? You want me to stay? You know I could."

"I like that. Come on."

Elijah's POV

I called Cassandra to meet up and she said her parents aren't home at the moment and she said I could come in with no problem. We arrived and I told Flynn to wait for me since it won't be long. Just tell her I'm not interested in being with her. The door was opened and Cassandra was the top of the stairs, she happily came down and hugged me.

"I was so happy to hear from you. Let's go to my bedroom and talk. Come."

"Cassandra."

"You know it's always Cassie. Come on."
