Hours of the news of Desiree's passing hit Renny hard. She stood as she watched the stars, with Juliette, Elijah and Flynn behind her.
The silence was nice but hard for those who felt the pain of a close friend.
Juliette wore Elijah's jacket to stay warm, along with Renny who Flynn was surprised to accept it.
Juliette spoke first but stopped when Renny began.
"You were right. I have a reason why I'm marrying Christian Knight. And I was stupid to let myself go this far to do it. Maverick said he has men to locate King's hideout. Take his men out, and we can take Victor. And help Joey's medical treatments."

"Who?"

"There's some things you don't know about me, Red. But you know Blue, what I told you about him. I loved him, and after he died, I found out he was my half brother. Yeah I was shocked too. Angry but sad that he died. Not only that but he left something behind. A little Blue. Hehe."

"Girls like me don't leave the district if your pregnant, they won't let you. But I found Joanna who was looking for girls to take and I was determined to get the hell out of there. "I couldn't. I couldn't ask for you to help me because I would still have to pay you back."

"You went to Joanna to give her the money so you can leave, did you?"

"I'm done with that place but Maverick has me now. I'm marrying his son."

Flynn lifted her chin up to face him, "The time we spent together, was it real or a lie?"

"How can you ask me that? It was real, every bit of it." That was enough for Flynn to hear before placing his lips to hers. Renny was surprised but returned the kiss, it was real. What they had together was real.

"You don't have to keep this from us. Stop running from this. You don't have to do this alone."

"Flynn is right, Ren. Don't walk away from us."

"Maverick played you because you were weakened. He found what means to you. D and your son. What else did he do?"

"He threatened to take Joey away from his parents. Now I don't think he did it. He didn't kidnapped Joey because I agreed to marry his son. D!"

"It may be the people who were after you. They found you."

"You said someone is after you. It's them, isn't it?"

"Yes. I took some stupid dagger from the leader and now they're after me to get it back. This is my fault!"

"No it isn't! Because you know why? Because we're going to make those bastards pay! You better believe we're going to get the kid back and kill them!"
