Song Chosen

Its pretty nerve wracking to have an audition, even if it is just for school tomorrow. I didn't know if I wanted to do one of their songs or not. I was stressing over nothing, I knew that all I needed was some time to think about it, then I would be okay.

We got to the BigHit building and all went straight to the practice room, where Sungdeuk was waiting for them. I held Yoongi's hand as we went in, he smiled.

"Hello all, a little late, but that's okay. Who's this?" Sungdeuk asked
"Oh, this is Yoonmi, my youngest sister. She lives with us now and she's auditioning for SOPA tomorrow. Do you have any suggestions?" Yoongi asked
"Well hello! I'm Sungdeuk, the person who gives your brother a hard time. What were you thinking for your song? Did you want to dance a lot or simple? Maybe we can come up with something." He spoke
"I haven't decided yet. I do want to dance though." I agreed
"I'm glad to hear that. Come talk to me when you know what you want to do and we can do something." He said with a smile

I nodded and went to sit on the couch that's in the room as all of the other guys set their stuff down and proceeded to stretch for their practice. Hoseok came over to me and leaned over the couch.

"You know that you can talk to us right?" He reminded me
"Yes, I do. What brought this one?" I asked
"You know, you're going through a bad time right now and I just wanted to make sure that you knew that you could talk to any of us anytime." He responded
"Yes, Hoseokie. I do know. I will make sure to come to any of you for anything." I reassured
"I'm just worried about you kiddo. Also, there is a room next door if you want to practice or anything. It might help you being away from us." He added
"I think I will do that now." I said while gathering my stuff

He ruffled my hair as I walked out. Yoongi glanced over at me and then turned back around. I went into the room and put my backpack by the door. I pulled out my phone to check my messages again, two of them.

"How did it go at SOPA?! Did you get in?" ~Jaein
"But this is more fun. I heard that you withdrew from school. That's such a shame. We'll have to talk later." ~Yui

"Hey! I have an audition tomorrow morning. I still need to choose a ~Me
"It wasn't my choice to leave school. We can talk, as long as you are civil." ~Me

I put my phone down and sat in silence, thinking hard about the song and dance. I know that it doesn't have to be extravagant, but I'm sure that they get hundreds of people trying to get into the school, so I want to stand out, not just because I'm Yoongi's youngest sister. I decided to do a song from their most recent album, Love yourself: Answer. I got up and shuffled into the boys practice room to steal the album. I was noticed by all of them and I waved as I exited again.

~Yoongi's POV~

Yoonmi ran into the room, grabbed one of our albums and ran back out. I chuckled.

"Looks like she chose Answer." I said
"I wonder what song she'll choose." Jin added
"Do we have to be sneaky and find out?" Namjoon asked with a grin
"She'll ask one of us to help her, I'm pretty sure." Hoseok answered
"You're not wrong. She'll want to learn from the source." Jimin said as well.
"But it would be fun to go see before she talks to us." Taehyung snickered
"I hope you all are aware that the walls are soundproof, so you'd have to actually go inside to see." Sungdeuk butted in

All of them pouted as I rolled my eyes. We all got back to work.

Hours later, we see Jungkook coming in, now dressed in his dance wear.

"Working hard?" Jungkook asked us
"Always." Jin responded
"Has she picked a song yet?" Jungkook asked
"Yes, but we don't know which one. She took Answer into the other room, so we are assuming that it's one from there." I replied
"Do you think she chose one of our solo songs?" Namjoon questioned
"I would think so." Hoseok agreed

~Yoonmi's POV~

I sat down on the floor and put the CD in the player. I played through the whole album before landing back on the song that I wanted to do. I replayed the song many times to learn the lyrics before attempting to do any dances for it. I wanted to wait to get help from the member who's song it was. It would be a lot easier if I did it that way. I realized that I did not bring a water bottle with me today, so I ran outside of the practice room and back into theirs to grab one from Jin's bag. I was bombarded with questions asking which song I chose. I refused to answer, smiled, and walked back into my own practice room.

I drank some of the bottle and laid flat on my back. I stared up at the ceiling with many thoughts going through my head. This practice room could be mine. I could be with this company if I tried. But my brother...I know he would not want that or be pleased with it. I thought more about it. Maybe I would talk to one of the guys later about it. I didn't want to approach Yoongi yet.

Later on, I decided to finally get help on the dance. I went into the other room while the guys were on their break and pointed at the person I wanted. He stood up and followed me to the other side of the room.

"You chose my song? I didn't think you would want to do that one. The dance isn't awful, but it's harder with the music and singing." He spoke. He sounded genuinely surprised
"Yes, I want to do that one. I listened to the whole album, and I found myself repeating it. Will you please help me with the dance? I know that learning it overnight won't be entirely possible, but just most of it? Please?" I explained, but halfway through, it turned more into a begging. I was desperate.

"Of course. Come on, we have work to do if you want to be ready. It's already 6pm and I won't work you to death." He agreed.

I jumped to hug him and he followed me out to go to the other practice room.

~Yoongi's POV~

"There's our answer. She chose his solo. In all honesty, I kind of expected it." I announced
"So was I. She's not much of a rapper, so that canceled out three of ours." Namjoon agreed
"The dance is difficult for that one, a lot of footwork. I don't know if she can learn it. I hope the kid doesn't exhaust himself though." Jimin said
"You're right. I think they'll be okay though." Jin assured
"Although I'm happy that she picked a song, I'm kind of bummed out that it wasn't mine." Taehyung sighed
"Me too, but I'm just glad that something got picked and she wasn't panicking in the morning or late tonight." Hoseok said

We all could agree on that one. I guess her choice was clear, she chose Euphoria. I had the feeling that she would. She listened to that song a lot when it first came out. She always said that it was because the video first drew her in, then she said that it was fun to listen to. He's not much older than her, so they'll work well together.
