They Have Begun

~Yoonmi's POV~

I woke up in the morning the next day. This is the latest I have slept in for a while, since I was always busy with school, work, or volleyball. I reached for my phone and saw that it was 10am, almost not even morning anymore. I saw I had a couple of emails. I was scared to see if any of them were from the companies. I clicked the first one, from SM Entertainment.

"Hello Yoonmi,
We spoke at the school after the show. I was glad to see that you came into contact with us. I was also going to ask you meeting times, but I was surprised to see that you already gave some. Any of those would work. We would like to meet as soon as possible to discuss a possible contract as long as terms are met. Please meet with us today at 12:30pm today at the SM Entertainment building. We look forward to meeting with you.

I almost threw my phone after reading the email. They didn't think I was pushy. I guess that's one out of the way. I screenshotted it, ready to send it to the guys later on.

"Yoonmi,
We have received your email and are glad to see that you looked into our company. Your meeting times work well with us to discuss a contract. Please come by today at your earliest convenience before 8pm tonight and we will be free to talk with you. Please meet at the new JYP Building. Have a good day and I look forward to meeting you.

As my representative said, that was a great performance and I will consider that your audition. If we meet agreeable terms, we will sign you on for an artist contract. Please meet me at the BigHit building at 11am. I think that we will have a lot to discuss. I look forward to completing the talk we started earlier. Thank you.

The last email hit me the hardest. It's my brothers label; it would make the most sense to sign with them, yet something doesn't feel right. Something feels out of place. I sat there for a couple minutes debating, I re-read the emails, then freaked out.

"IT'S ALREADY 10:20AM! I HAVE TO BE AT BIGHIT AT 11!" I screamed while jumping out of the bed, making a mad dash for the shower. Even though I was running behind, I still made sure that I did my usual routine in the shower. 20% actual shower, 80% singing. Of course I still made sure that I was clean, but there is no fun in it if you don't make it.

I got out of the shower and went into my suitcase. I still didn't have a lot with me. I pulled on a pair of blue skinny jeans. My shirts were dirty because I hadn't done laundry let, so I went into Yoongi's closet and pulled out one of my brothers black and white striped shirts. I pulled on socks, shoes, and grabbed my purse. I made sure to grab my wallet, phone, keys, headphones, a phone charger, a water bottle, and the headphones Jungkook gave me. I made sure to carry those for luck. I was out of the house at 10:45am, which gave me 15 minutes to make it to BigHit. At least it's not that far away. I walked until I reached the building.

It was now 10:57am, so I was right on time. I was able to enter with no problems. PD recognized me and brought me into a meeting room on the first floor.

"Yoonmi, it's good to see you. I'm glad that you accepted the request to meet. First things first, you did well at the showcase. I had my representative watch for you. As I stated before, we do not have female trainees, but I would think about making an exception for you. I have come to a decision. I will accept you. A small portion of it does fall on the fact of who you are related to, but the main reason was because we saw that you had heart. You have shown me that you will be willing to put the work in. Sandeuk informed me that you were practicing in the room. You told him that you feel at home there. Tell me why you chose music and why you think here would be the right place." He explained
"There are many reasons as to why someone would chose music. I did not have the easiest childhood; my parents were not the greatest either. I spent a lot of time alone. I was amazed whenever my brother would talk to me about music and why he loved it. I fell in love with it. I learned piano and began pursuing it myself. I don't want to be known for who I am related to, but by the message that I want to pass through my lyrics and how I present myself." I replied. He smiled and nodded his head.
"That is something that I am looking for." He said while reaching down and pulling out an envelope. He pulled out paperwork.
"This is the artist contract. I have it written and ready to go. I am aware that you are underage and will need someone to sign with you. But just understand that it is here and ready should you commit to BigHit. My representative saw that you had other cards in your hand. Are you going to hear all of us out?" He questioned me. I nodded my head.
"Yes. That's what I told myself. I want to find what is best for me." I replied
"That is understandable. Please keep BigHit in your thoughts then. Have a good day and hope to receive a response soon." He said while standing up and escorting me to the door. He handed me an envelope that had the outline of the contract and the things we talked about today before I turned around to leave

I left the room and pulled out my phone to check the time. I still had a decent amount of time. I went to the cafe across the street and ordered a coffee. I texted Yoongi.

"Done with my first meeting. Hope you guys are having fun?" ~Me to Yoongi.
