Just before he pushed the button, an angry shout blurted from where they were standing. "Hey! Leave my son alone!"

The two turned towards the shout. Standing on the porch, a man wearing a black and orange jumpsuit stood with a gun in both hands. A look of anger cast upon his face as he saw the attackers. "Get away from him or I'll blow you two to smithereens!"

Popping out behind him was his wife, Maddie, wearing the same thing, instead of orange, her's was blue, and their daughter Jazz, both mixed from worry and hate.

Maddie's gaze turns to her right. She gasped, seeing Danny lying on the ground, motionless. "Danny!" she yelled, running over to him in worry. A blast shot in front of her, stopping in her tracks. She turned around to find a gun pointing at her.

"Don't go near him, ma'am. He's ours for the taking." the boy told, holding down his gun with a thin stream of smoke coming out.

Jack raised his and shot the two, missing them in the middle. "Dang it."

"Nice one! What else you got, old man?!" The girl taunted, shooting her gun at Jack.

The shot missed him by a inch. Jack aimed his gun, a ball of green energy forming inside the barrel. Out of nowhere, a ray of green light shot the boy directly. "My turn!" The boy fell backwards, holding onto his chest in pain. "Drake!"

Danny stood up. "Okay. Let's set some ground rules: How do you both know my name and why the both of you following me?"

The girl chuckled, turning her attention to him. "Let's just say someone is out for revenge."

"Of course." he boredly said, forming two familiar rings around his torso.

Danny shot her twice with energy disks. The girl leaped up to her right, dodging the two shots and shooting her gun, as well. First shot missed by his foot, the other hitting his shoulder, which didn't hurt. Turning tangible, he ducked down and shot back up, bringing the girl into the air with him. The girl didn't hesitate to shoot him again.

"Eat this!" the girl yelled, blasting Danny with a massive shot.

He smirked, holding a ball of neon green. "Right back 'acha!"

Both of them flew in opposite directions, both screaming as they fell. They were equally matched. Not one of them denting the other. Flipping over, Danny stopped to see the girl fall. He flew fast, catching her bridal-style and setting her down.  Purpose, unknown, but kinda instinctive. The girl didn't open her eyes.

"Danny!" Jazz wailed while running to him, hugging her little brother protectively.

Wide-eyed, he looked at her in surprise. "Jeez, Jazz. I'm not a stuff animal." he said, letting go and chuckling at the end.

"Nice!" Jack piped up, lowering his gun.

Maddie lift her hand to his back. "Excellent! Though, work on your aim a little more in the air next time, okay?"

Groaning, he sighed.

From behind, the girl opened her eyes and leaned up slowly. Holding her head, she saw Danny being hugged by the woman in a blue jumpsuit. This was the perfect moment for capture him. Looking over, she grabbed her rod from her partner and aimed it at Danny.

Smiling, she whispered/yelled, "Gotcha."

With a push of a button, a glowing purple net springs out, latching itself onto him. Maddie gasped and backed away next to Jack, who pulled up his gun immediately. "What the?!" he yelled, struggling against the net. The girl chuckled and pressed another. Jazz was about to help Danny, when the net came to life.

"Huh, I guess he wasn't kidding. Shocking to believe it works!" The girl laughed, amping up the battery. The shock intensified as Danny screeched from vast amounts of electricity. Not to long, he closed his eyes and his ghostly wail activated, knocking his family to the ground.

From shock, Jazz screamed with her hands up, "We need to help him!" Jack and Maddie nodded and shot their guns at the girl. She quickly noticed the strays of beam, initializing a purple shield. The beams bounced, flying in another direction. One of them impacted near Maddie, causing her to fall back down. The girl smirked, shooting her gun at a stunned Jack and went back to her mission.

Out from the shock, Danny's parents and sister screamed his name, but due to being electrocuted, he didn't hear them. He couldn't comprehend what to do now, but to wait out the attack. Barely conscious, he lifted half of himself up and glared at the girl. Her response was a grin.

Once the shock seduces slowly, his body singed, leaving rips in his suit and gashes all over. His eyes hardly opened, not following what's next. The three Fentons' were horrified, watching a mixture of blood and ecto-plasm forming underneath Danny in a puddle. "Better sleep for now, ghost boy. Let the pain conquer you."

Angered, Jack and Maddie didn't have time to weep, they want revenge upon the girl. Aiming their weapons, her partner groaned, flinching from his pained chest as he leaned up.

"You alright?" the girl asked, looking over her shoulder.

"Think so." he replied, getting up slowly to his feet.

The girl turned her gaze towards the frustrated adults and helped him up to his feet.

"You got him?"

"Yeah. Let's get a move on. Enjoy your night, Fentons!" she yelled, flying away with Danny and her partner into the grim night.

Jack shot his gun multiple times in the air, hoping one of them hits them instead of his son. One nearly got the girl by the right, but since her moves were very persistent, she adequately dodged the in-coming shots.

Jack growled, raising his fist and yelling, "Get back here, cowards!"

Walking up to him in grief, Maddie's hand met Jack's shoulder, "Jack, don't be mad."

After Maddie hugged Jack, Jazz stepped up and said in a cheery tone, "Mom's right! We can't be moping around while Danny's in trouble! We have to save him."

"And how are we suppose to do that?" Jack said, dryly.

"I've got a plan, but we need another in order for it to work, and I think I know who."

He looked at Maddie, confusion on his face, then in a booming tone, "Let's do it!"
