"Control yourself, ghost boy! This isn't you!" Skulker yelled sternly, prepping a gun to aim at Danny.

Vlad cursed under his breath, straightening up and staring into Danny's discorded eyes. He can see the craziness that tightens the ghost boy's mind through them. It was suddenly getting worse. The malicious grin began to leak out black and red mixed blood, his whole body turning dull colored and eyes changing from black and white to blood, gorging red. Whoever stared into them woud've screamed with fright.

The evidence wasn't clear enough to verify the problem now. He couldn't let this go any further, not having him break out of the room and destroy Amity Park. How is he going to convince him under that state or was he not him and not in another conscience? I must know quickly!

"He's right, Little Badger," Vlad admitted, floating halfway up to him with worry, "This isn't you, not like anyone I've seen under your state. You're not the same as I've seen you many times. Whatever is taking over, you need to snap out of it before you hurt someone! Mainly yourself!"

Danny's eyes widened in shock, floating back away from him. How could have this have happened? "Wh-What a-are you-you s-s-say-ing? I-I've never-never ch-cha-changed! I-I-I'm the s-s-sa-same!" He twitched.

Danny didn't know what had happened to him when he was caught by Drake and Adriana. The times that he did was the shock net, hazy visions, and waking up strapped against a table. Not figuring out the mystery behind this confused him a lot.

Maybe Vlad was right...? What if he was saying the truth? Though, Vlad is a villain... but sometimes he was helpful in different times. Should I trust him? Could I really trust him?

'DON'T BE TRICKED!'

A sudden jolt sprang into action. The sudden pain made him flinch and grasp his head. No... Vlad couldn't be telling the truth! He's a villain and most villains don't say such words! Even if he knew that this wasn't really him, the phantom didn't think of any of this was real or a messed-up nightmare. In fact, he knew that the old man was holding a secret.

In the back of his head, a faint voice was coaching him to trust Vlad, tell him that he's under some kind of trance. Wait, another argued that the first was lying, telling him that he can't be trustworthy. The first growled and shouted that Danny can truly accept what Vlad said. The second disagreed. What is going on? The two voices argued loudly over who's right or wrong, causing another jolt that felt like a bullet that had fired at his head.

This couldn't get even more worse. Something stirred inside himself the moment the second shot happened. Once he was on the ground, the Halfa faltered slightly, quickly shut his eyes and clutching his stomach tightly. He felt like he was going to vomit, his body shivered in uneasiness. The room started to spin. Dropping to his knees, Danny breathed heavily, shaking his head numbly and murmuring without him hearing what he's saying.

Is this it? Is he going insane? If it means that much to drop just a bit under the insane line and tell Vlad what happened to him, he better do it fast before it's too late! All he needs to do is convince himself that he's trustworthy! He felt hands softly touch his shoulders, barely putting any weight. Confused of who this is, the ghost boy looked up.

All of a sudden, the phantom began to screech, almost deafening the whole room when five black tendrils shot out his back. Vlad held him tightly, his red eyes focusing on the Little Badger. He didn't bother what he looked like. The dull color morphed into wholesome black and eyes the same, but whole blood red like his on the outside. Without a ounce of fear, the older halfa embraced him again, not letting him go as he screamed bloody mary.

Don't lose yourself...

Tiassale piped a shriek, his confidence slipping from him. This couldn't be better. Following instinct, he hid behind Danny, quivering from the sudden voice he knew never to hear again. He couldn't have been in the worst of timing, especially when Danny's in danger at this point. Both of their powers were better, but Furor's... that doesn't need to be proven. He seen what he was capable of. God, help them both...

"Who are you?!" Danny yelled above the noise.

A eerie, dark laugh echoed the room. "You think I would simply tell my name to you, Ghost Boy? No, no, no. I'll let you figure it out for yourself, unless Tiassale here gives it away."

"Danny," Tiassale whispered/yelled, "Please, do not be overwhelmed by his influence! He wants you to be tricked until you break!"

"SHUT UP, YOU DEFECTED PEST!"

Unseen from the naked eye, the shadow ghost twisted in circles, beginning to form a red hue twister around them. Danny glanced over his shoulder, seeing fear in Tiassale's once malignant, bloody eyes. He felt the same, but didn't show for he need him to be confident in order to defeat this intruder.

"Don't worry. I have confidence in the both of us. Stay strong and stick by me." he grinned.

Tiassale nodded slowly, stepping out behind the halfa. "Be careful, then." Danny heard him say before taking off.

He rode along the rippling wind, steadying himself from the waves and gaining speed. Screams and whispers of innocents were audible to hear over the wind. Once the Halfa made it to the top, he hovered in the eye of the tornado with glowing, icy blue fists. He glanced over to see Tiassale had followed him, scowling at the whirling winds. His fists were glowing as well, but instead of icy blue, there were maroon.

"Show yourself!" Danny demanded, scanning the corners of his preferable vision.

The tornado grew, picking up speed as also reversing itself upside-down. By this time, the shadow reconstructed himself outside the vortex, viewing the two twins back-to-back, anger and hatred clearly shown in their opposite eyes. Furor loved the temper and vengeance. He smirked, knowing that their desire to end him fueled his power. Look at them, Furor thought during his examination, Easy to be picked off. I can easily beat these two hooligans with or without my unlimited strength...

"Let's see how you do well against me! 2 verses 1, all or nothing!" Furor laughed as he dive-bombed into the vortex, stretching his long, sharp claws out to attack Tiassale.

Tiassale quickly notice and dived to the right, one claw nearly cutting his left hip. After turning back around, he fired a red ecto-ray, which deflected the possible hit by Furor's force-field. Danny, to the left, sprang upwards and shot an ice spike. Furor dodged the incoming spike, catching it behind him. He glared and threw the ice spike, rushing back towards Danny.

Concentrating, he forced a blue shield. The icicle bounced off it and fell to the black 'floor'. With a grin, the shield in-case itself around him and he flew at high speed until smacking him into Furor like in a pinball game. After that, the twin threw disks of plasma energy straight at the enemy's face. The shadow ghost growled with a smile, chuckling at the pathetic duo. The two were surprised that he had up his own force-field.

"Is that the best you can do?!" he yelled, clenching his claws into fists and summoning a black ball.

Danny's eyes narrowed, grinning. Without a moment to spare, a glowing light blue energy ball with green swirls engulfed his white, gloved hands. "As a matter of fact, how about a 'no'?" At the same time, the black ball increased in size, sparks jolting around it. Furor and Danny released their energy, both hitting each other between them. The impact blew the two away, including the tornado that surrounded them.

All was left was a smoke haze.
