Metal gears rotate and clocks ticked in rhythm around the room. Hidden in a giant clock tower, Clockwork gazed at one of the many screens in the room, studying what would occur in time. It's been quite some time since the asteroid incident happened and so far, nothing had popped up, except a few spots from Skulker and the Box Ghost, but nothing exciting.

He sighed, letting a small smile cross his lips. No enemies showed up... yet.

"I see that there is nothing wrong, Clockwork?" Observant #1 asked.

"Everything is in it's place." Clockwork told while changing from his normal self to older, next his younger self and back to normal. This went on during their discussion. "As far as I can tell, nothing has been corrupted since the boy saved both our worlds, except a few times from Skulker and the Box Ghost."

The two nodded, one of them blinking their eye. "Though, you know how time is kept under hand, you may need to be involved less before it becomes out of control. Otherwise, there will be-"

Before Observant #2 could finish, Clockwork calmly intruded, "I know what will occur, Observant. Remember what I told the both of you the last time we have met?"

They simply nod again, knowing that Clockwork can see into the past, present, and future before others did. Of course, it was Clockwork's job to check for any defaults that would spawn in events. If one is known, he'll simply say "Time out" with a push the button on his staff and say "Time in" when the situation was restored. One slip up in time could cause unsuitable results.

"You would know about the boy, then..." Clockwork tilted his head, letting his small smile drop to a frown and turn towards the Observants with a disturbed expression.

He knew what would happen to the boy. Trouble always slipped by him in every turn of path. New enemies rise and fall, but some come back, better than before, but this time...he knew what he'll become...and finding out about it, wasn't going to be pleasant for others around him. Such a thing could make a risk that even a halfa can't handle alone.

Silence permeated the room for a bit till Clockwork spoke, "I do... and he'll be after him in ever turn. Including myself. I'll keep an eye on the boy, but I won't intervene until it gets too serious." More silence came after.

Observant #2 sighed in improvement after word. The Observants knew Clockwork won't listen to them. Even with warning, he'll blow them off and cheat the flow of time, like he did with Dark Dan. Clockwork only did it because he deserved a second chance like the others have had. He remembered what he told the boy.

He sighed once more before turning back to the screen, viewing the night sky with shining stars.

As he did, the two Observants made their leave. Observant #2 went out first, but as Observant #1 was about to leave, he warned Clockwork about the boy. "Don't make him fall influence to him. The last he needs is to be tempered with." Clockwork nodded and Observant #1 leaves.
