By now, Adriana and Drake were frightened, not as scared, but frightened to the point they froze in place. The old man that inhabited Furor calmly stood behind the two, watching the event unfold before them. The screeching stopped, turning to a menacing, distorted growl and the tendrils had not yet lashed out, just laying still around the two halfas. Odd it may be. The group was relieved, some sighed from releasing their ears, but on their guard for any sudden attacks.
The second change has ended... There's no telling when the third begins to corrupt him. he thought, grimacing at a tendril twitching to life. The black ooze from its limb dripped like slime; it swayed some action for 5 seconds before dropping back to the floor. Both the helpers and Skulker drew back; Vlad staring at the fixated, growling Little Badger. The demented growl stopped unexpectedly, settling in an eerie silence.
Vlad, still clinging to him, hesitated to see what he would look like again, yet nevertheless, he took the deal. Danny's eyes were closed, his skin in the blackest of shadows and mouth jagged like a beast's smile, accompanied by two long black fangs. It was horror itself up-scaling to a new level, but that wasn't the least of his problems. He yelped as a hand gripped his arm, digging its claws into it. At the same time, Danny's eyes flickered open, revealing sickening black scleroses, reddish black irises, and snake slit pupils.
He let out a demonic chuckle and as fast as teleporting, another tendril had latched itself around the vampire ghost, sending him flying at Skulker. Skulker dodged swiftly and grabbed Vlad before he was splattered on the wall. This amused the shadow.
Adriana covered her mouth from a gasp with Drake with their jaws hanging from their frames. It even surprised the man and Skulker. Two tendrils struck the ground, pulverizing out like shots in such great speed. One whipped a pipe connected to the ceiling off and threw it at them quickly. They barely were hit. The old man lifted half of himself, grunting from dodging the pipe.
He knew Furor had gain an excessive amount the phantom's power, including the three shadow ghosts. He must act quickly as possible before he takes havoc inside of Phantom. Turning his attention to the helpers, he whispered soft enough for them to hear only, "Adriana, get your parents and leave this place. Drake, protect her at any cost. Make sure the both of you return to the Ghost Zone."
"What are you going to do?" Adriana asked curiously.
"I'll hold off Furor as long as possible. Both of you, leave this instance!"
"You can't be serious, Hank!? You're putting your valuable life just for us! We can take him on-"
"I know what I'm doing. I value your lives more than myself. Don't let your lives be wasted for nothing. If you'll excuse me, I have one more job to be ordered." he calmly told, cutting Drake off.
Adriana looked at him in concern, yet very much worried. He shouldn't be risking his life to save all of them from Furor's wrath, even when he said he values their lives more than him. This is like the last time when he found them beaten and wounded. With a shook of her head, Adriana ran to the double doors, along with Drake following behind her. Though he like to see Danny transform to his final stage, protecting Adriana is his major priority. Little has he had known her, Drake have had a crush on her.
Out of nowhere, a blast of a cannon shot off the heavy double doors and out came a group of two adults and three teens. They rushed in, the two adults aiming their guns at Furor.
"No one move unless you want to be shot!" The orange-wearing man shouted.
"DON'T SHOOT, YOU IDIOTS! THAT'S YOUR SON UNDER CONTROL OF THE ENEMY!" Vlad yelled.
The room came to silence, both of the adults stunned in surprise. They were taken aback by the figure on the opposite side of where they stood. Sam, Tucker, and Jazz's jaws were wide apart, no description to say what they're observing.
"D-Danny? Is that really you?" Maddie managed to speak, perturbed to say a word again and lower her gun to mean no harm.
Furor made a low guttural sound, obscured on the woman calling him his captured prisoner's name. To show her what he can do, the shadow's fourth tendril shot at her. Her eyes became even wider, frozen when time slowed down. She raised her arms to cover herself, fully ready to be hit, but it didn't come. Slowly removing her arms, she was more surprised to see a pink shield with a large crack appeared in front of her.
"That isn't him. No more than a merciless, inhumane shadow." Vlad sternly said, dropping his arm and the shield disappears. Maddie and Jack looked at him confused.
"The truth does lie in his speech. Your son is now in the hands of Furor." Hank added.
The group gasped and glanced at the shadow as he retracted his tendril with a scowl on his face. Going unoticed, a wave of pain hit Furor. Holding his head and almost falter to the ping, the shadow levitated with the help of his tendrils socking into the floor and wall around him. It nearly caused a growl to escape his throat. Though he was in control, half of him was keeping the ghost boy and twin at bay and the other to destroy what's up ahead. Nonetheless, he had his smile, but not in a happy kind of way.
The ghost narrowed his eyes in disgust by Hank's encouragement. Why would these imbecile help them? He knows Amity Park will die by me, along with three strong ghosts in control. Scoffing by Hank's judgment, he shot a tendril at his throat and raised him up at eye level. No expression was given, no need in front of a power abuser. "You turn your own life in exchange for protection of two hidden ghosts?" he hissed, tightening Hank's neck, "You're too much of a pathetic piece of flesh and bones for my taste of killing."
"If I'm a piece of flesh and bones to your sickening decisions, why did you take control of me in the first place instead of finding strong ghosts by yourself?" Hank questioned back.
Furor narrowed his murderous eye more, frowning from such emotionless retaliation. "A reason for that is so I wouldn't be caught noticed by obnoxious ghost hunters. I know there are more of them than in Amity Park, more smarter and more technological in weapons that are hard to believe in. On a side note, I wouldn't say the GiW from Axion were different than average hunters, but more in the category of predators without idea idiots."
"The second, I had to control you because I needed to gain trust from Tarik and Parodia to distract the phantom boy and capturing him in their human forms. From our fight in the Ghost Zone, they were truly dumbfounded to know I was the stranger hidden in the real you. It was generous of them to take my side, but now their powers, including Phantom's, will be put to use on this retching world."
He turned his attention to Vlad, a mischievous smile in a form of pleasure. "Oh, I also have something to tell you, Vladdy!" he said distorted, "I think your nephew wants to speak to you before he's finally in my full control!" Vlad's eyes widen, Furor flinging Hank to the side like a rag and by lowering to the ground, he switched minds with a change of appearance. 'Let's let them have their moment before my destruction undergoes.' he thought, chuckling darkly.
Vlad saw the change and lunged out to catch the barely conscience ghost. The boy looked so distant, similar to be in the brink of death before someone's very own eyes and the blank stare of dull neon green irises held no glow like it once held. "Daniel, can you hear me?" he asked, shaking his shoulders a bit rough.
Cringing and hacking air out of his lungs, Danny looked at Vlad, a small smile seen on his lips. "H-Hey." he croaked.
Vlad sighed and hugged him, believed that he was still awake. "Even if you scared me, don't do it again."
A small grin made its way. "I-I need t-to t-tell you." Danny asked.
"What? Spill it out if you can."
"N-No... m-matter what h-happens,... s-save th-the c-c-captured..." Flinching by a wicked beaten of pain, Danny shut his eyes and screamed, holding his head.
Before Vlad could comprehend, with a flick of a wrist, black static electricity sparked Furor's hand, forming a black energy ball. Vlad didn't move a muscle, not sure of what to expect. Instead he was shot in the chest by a fiery bolt of lightening. Furor was back in control, changing back to his persona and grinned. He turned around and targeted the wall, releasing the ball. The wall didn't survive the attack, instead left a huge gap in it. The tendrils slithered out of the crevice, ripping the rest of the metal wall off.
Furor stopped, turning around to smile maliciously. "It was nice to stay, but this is a farewell to all of you! Ciao!"
We lost him... Vlad thought his final thought before heading into darkness.

"Enjoyed your last conversation with him, boy?" Furor smiled in delight, floating over the silent phantom. Danny couldn't talk due to losing his voice from over amounts of ghost wails after firing a explosive ecto-ray at the shadow, so he scowled and closed his eyes, getting up to yank the chains around his wrists and feet once more. He wondered if Tiassale was okay. Did he get away in time before the explosion?
"I would say he was good as dead!" Furor somehow read his mind. After trying to get out, the idiot figure of black levitated next to Danny's right and patted his snow white hair like a master to his behaved dog. "You can't keep anything from me, Danny. You're in your own mind, and with me inside, I can read your thoughts without knowing."
Danny shot a shocked expression at him and pulled harder on the chains, giving all his strength to get out and take back cotrol. Furor found it diverting to watch him struggle, knowing that the chains are made to be unbroken no matter how strong a prisoner is. For about what felt like hours, Danny huffed out a breath and slumped to his knees, tired of brawling the chains. Nothing from the effort made the shackles budge out of place from the invisible black wall.
He never given up on Tiassale, he still had hope. His eyes dropped to tiredness. 'Where are you?'
