Why today? Why today of all days did every single stoplight in Burbank have it out for her and turn red? Allie was already stressed, excited and nervous enough for her first day since she got a promotion but now that she was late for her first meeting only made it worse.

Her one saving grace was that at least she had worn flats so the second she parked her car and grabbed her bag, Allie sprinted across the parking lot. Her spunky and extroverted personality had made her a favorite amongst her fellow Disney animators the past five years that she had worked here and when some of her co-workers saw her short tiny frame running at full speed toward the animation building, nobody was surprised.

"Late for work Allie?" A co-worker called, seeing her dirty blonde spiral curls bouncing as she whizzed by.

Allie turned her head to tell him yes but before she could, Allie crashed into something hard. The force made her little frame stumble backward where she tripped and fell right into a beautifully landscaped bush.

What she had smacked into turned around to see what had caused this abrupt force and was surprised when he saw a small beautiful woman sitting in a green bush. Her legs were tangled, her blonde curls in a mess around her face that looked startled. The man watched as she realized what had happened and burst into a fit of adorable laughter.

"Are you alright?" He asked, going over to help her out of the bush.

"Oh I'm fine! Just seeing how comfortable that bush is," Allie laughed, brushing herself off. "Verdict is in though, it's quite uncomfortable!"

While she was giggling, she looked up to see what she had run into and it didn't surprise her that she felt like she ran into a brick wall. The man was absolutely gorgeous and was tall and well built with broad shoulders. He had dark brown hair that was slicked back neatly and a pair of piercingly blue eyes that were full of kindness while his jawline looked like it had been sculpted out of marble. Allie's eyes then traveled the length of his tall frame and saw that he wore a pair of well fitting tan pants that outlined his long legs. The pants were secured around his narrow hips with a brown belt and above that was a blue button up shirt tucked into his pants neatly. The sleeves of his shirt were rolled up, showing his thick forearms but it was then that she noticed something dripping off his hand and it was then that she realized there was a brown stain on his shirt.

She quickly saw the empty coffee cup rolling around on the cement and pieced together what happened and profusely apologized, "I'm so so so sorry! I didn't even see you there! Well obviously I didn't see you there or I wouldn't have crashed into you, I was just in such a hurry!"

The man with the kind eyes nervously scratched the back of his neck while he chuckled, "It's okay, it's just a shirt. Are you alright?"

"Oh yeah I'm fine! Thanks for being so nice about this," Allie happily nodded before catching a glimpse at a clock behind the handsome stranger and gasped, "Shit, I'm so late!" And then she started running off down the walkway while she called over her shoulder, "I'm really sorry again! Bye!"

He just chuckled to himself, not even completely sure what just happened. After the little blonde tornado had passed, he reached down to pick up his empty coffee cup, throwing it into the garbage before heading toward the bathroom to try to wash the coffee off of himself.

Inside the building, Allie ran to the elevator and hit the button furiously until the doors opened. She got inside quickly and hit the button but not before a familiar figure slipped in the elevator. The woman flipped her brown hair over her shoulder before smiling widely at her friend.

"So, today is the day!" Kara beamed, so excited for her friend.

"I'm super nervous," She admitted, awkwardly fidgeting in the metal elevator.
