"CHRIS!" He heard his name being loudly announced while his office door swung open.

"Yeah?" Was his calm response.

"There is a snow cone truck outside! It's some celebration thing for wrapping production on Coco!" Allie was bursting with excitement. "We have to go get one!"

He softly chuckled before he pulled his glasses off, leaving them on the desk before he wordlessly got up, silently telling her that he would go with her. Allie squealed before grabbing his hand and tugging him toward the elevator which made him laugh.

"Which kind are you going to get? I think I want blue raspberry, that's always my favorite," Allie bounced on her heels. "This is literally the best surprise! It's like I don't even care what happens the rest of the day!"

"I don't think I've ever met anyone as passionate about snow cones before," Chris snickered, shoving his hands in the pocket of his dark wash jeans that hugged his long legs in all the right places. "Well except maybe my niece... but she's three."

"Are you calling me a child?" Allie playfully crossed her arms in front of her chest while looking up at him.

Chris just smirked before shrugging his broad shoulders, "If the boot fits."

"You know, everyone thinks you're just so quiet and kind when really there's actually quite a bit of sassiness underneath," She was amused by him.

The elevator doors opened on the ground floor and the two set off to the courtyard where there were quite a few other employees around the truck so while they waited, Allie turned and asked Chris, "So other than secretly being sassy, what's another secret about you that would surprise me?"

Chris thought about it for a while, not being able to come up with much but eventually just shrugged and then scratched at his strong jawline, "Ummm... I have a vintage motorcycle but I don't know if you'd consider than surprising."

"Are you serious? That's so cool!" He felt a little swell of pride knowing that Allie liked that and then she asked, "Will you take me for a ride sometime? I've always wanted to ride on a motorcycle!"

He sweetly smiled as they moved up in line and he nodded, telling her, "Sure, just tell me when you want to go."

Allie was so excited that she threw her arms around his toned muscular frame and stood on her tip toes to kiss his cheek. The exuberant woman did things like this to people but Chris still wasn't used to her outbursts of affection and it caused him to blush softly from how much he enjoyed it. He watched her as her eyes sparkled when she finally got her snow cone and Chris got one of the same before the two decided to take a short break and take a walk around the studio before heading back to their offices to get to work.

"In the summer when I was a kid, my sisters and I would have a lemonade stand to make money so that we could buy ice cream or snow cones when the truck would come through the neighborhood and eating this reminds me of that," Chris smiled at the memory.

"I didn't know you have sisters!" Allie licked her snow cone.

"I have two, both older," He told her, and Allie thought it made sense why he was so shy, sweet and gentle.

She tucked some of her dirty blonde curls behind her ear and laughed, "I can picture a little Chris, selling lemonade on the corner."

"Oh I didn't sell it, that was my sister's job. I think I would have cried if a stranger talked to me! My job was drawing the flyers and the sign for our stand," Chris chuckled and Allie laughed at the thought of the now incredibly muscular 6ft tall man crying over a stranger talking to him. "I was always delegated to making the posters or signs for things as a kid so it's no wonder I ended up doing art for a living."

"Why did you want to work for Disney?" Allie was curious what drew him to this specific company.

Chris finished off his snow cone before tossing the paper in the garbage can and then shoved his big hands in his pockets, "Well I practically grew up on Disney movies and the family vacation we took every summer was always to Disneyland. I've always been drawn to everything Disney as well as the animation style so it just fit."

"You do have the perfect Disney style in art, your style is so whimsical and flowy," Allie told him.

He smiled sweetly at the compliment before he redirected and asked, "What about you? Why'd you want to work at Disney?"

"I've just always been in love with the magic of Disney. The whole aura of believing in your dreams and well... as a kid Disney movies were the only place I ever heard things like that and it made me feel something really special," She honestly confided in him. "Then in high school, my art teacher told me she thought I should go to the disney art program so I did and here I am."

"Well I..." Chris swallowed harshly before finding the courage to softly tell her, "I sure am glad you're here."

Allie just looked up into his ocean blue eyes and smiled widely, "Me too."

There was something about Chris that Allie had never experienced before. She hadn't known him long but she felt like she had known him a lifetime and could trust him with anything. He was much more than just a co-worker to her already and little did she know, that feeling in her would only grow with each passing day.
