"Peter, are you done?" you called out, pulling at the sleeves of your grey and white suit. "I'm tired of sitting here. It took me twelve seconds to get my new suit on, so why are you taking so long?"
"Uh, just a second," he said, voice muffled from the other side of the bathroom door. "I'm kinda taking selfies."
You sighed. "Peter Parker, you're a dork," you said. "You can't even show anyone your selfies!"
"I can show you, can't I?" he replied. "I'm almost done."
You stood up off the couch as the door unlocked. It opened and out stepped Peter, wearing a black, red, and gold suit. He held out his arms and smiled.
"What do you think?" he asked.
"Oh babe, you look so cute!" you practically squealed, walking over to him. You threw your arms around his neck and he put his hands on your waist. You reached up and kissed his lips softly. He chuckled and locked his hands at the small of your back, capturing you against him. "I love it."
"Yeah?" he asked. "You look pretty cute, too."
You kissed him again. He pulled his head back when the wristband on his wrist buzzed. He looked at it and smiled.
"Hey, Mr. Stark needs us," he said. His smile vanished. "Oh crap, there's a fire. Why didn't my spidey senses tingle for that?" He grabbed your hand and his mask. "Okay, babe. We gotta go!"
...
The entire sky was filled with smoke. Peter set you on the ground, letting go of the web that was holding you both up to the billboard above you. You gasped as you saw the flames pouring out of the windows. People screamed from inside the building and outside.
"Okay, I'm going in to grab people! Try to put out some of the flames!" Peter yelled, dropping your waist and running towards the entrance.
"Be careful!" you screamed over the roar of the fire and sirens.
You ran up to the building, hands up. The sky swirled as you willed it too; through the grey smoke came grey clouds. The thunder clashed as rain fell through the sky. You created a downpour, praying it would be enough to smother the flames. You coughed and pressed your mouth to the inside of your arm, taking in a deep breath.
"Peter," you choked, raising your lips. The earpiece looped around the outside of your ear buzzed with life. "Are you okay? Can you hear me?"
"I'm here," he said. You heard something break. "There's a family trapped inside of an apartment. I need you to create a downpour more to the left. There's a crack in the ceiling, but a giant fallen beam is blocking the water from reaching their kitchen. They're trapped. I'm trying to break down the wall but-" He coughed. "They'll die if they breathe in that stuff much longer!"
"I'm on it," you said quickly. "Tell them to get down!"
"Get down!" he screamed to them. "We're getting you out of here, but get down!"
You moved your lands to the left and focused there. Firefighters were pulling other people out of a second story window. Peter was still guiding the people as the rain grew heavier. The roof slacked and fell in some. You gasped in horror and closed your palms. The rain stopped.
"Don't stop!" he shouted. "Babe, you're going to kill them!"
You hurriedly opened your hands. Rain broke through the clouds and smoke again. In your fear, thunder roared. "Peter, I-I can't keep this up! The entire roof is caving!" It moved again. "Peter! Get them out of there!"
