Gray

4 months Earlier

"What?" I threw myself down onto the edge of the porcelain bath beside her, my breath shaky.
"I'm pregnant," she whispered, her own breath caught in her throat, "oh shit," she muttered.
"It's okay, baby," wrapping my arms around her small shoulders my emotions danced with each other. I couldn't tell which was winning. Complete and utter panic or joy. Joy, the woman of my dreams was sat here beside me holding a small white stick that confirmed my baby was snug inside of her, our baby. But panic was setting in and my lungs emptied uncontrollably, my boys. Would the same happen? It couldn't happen, it was a freak accident. I still wasn't convinced.

7 months earlier

"Mr Angel, I want to assure you this was not your fault," the nurse rested her hand on my shoulder but anger stormed my insides.
"Yes it was!" I roared, leaping to my feet and throwing over a supply trolley, she didn't move, neither did Evangeline. "I pushed him, he hit the tower and she hit her back!" Cold, devastated tears poured down my face, "I shouldn't have followed her." I wept, "I should have stayed away, I'd have never met them but they'd be alive! They'd be safe inside her and I wouldn't have to see the agony on her face when I tell her, I shouldn't have come." I fell back against the wall and slid down, my face in my hands and I screamed again, the pain too much to hold inside.

The nurse appeared by my side, squatting herself down and smiling softly, sympathetically.
"Grayson," I glanced her way before dropping my gaze to the floor once again, "this isn't your fault, the placenta had ruptured, not today, not yesterday. I promise you that, that, accident had nothing to do with that. Your babies, they were just too beautiful for earth,"
"I'm sorry," I whispered towards her,
"You don't need to apologise, I'm sorry. I am so utterly sorry you're having to experience this but it'll be okay. You and your wife, you're strong,"

"What are we going to do?" She whispers as I snap back to reality,
"We're going to have a bab..." my voice trails off before I could say it.
"No," she snaps, "just because I'm pregnant doesn't mean we get to have a baby. Our boys,"

Evangeline - present day

Standing at the kitchen counter I stare up at the empty cupboards. We really needed to go shopping. Pulling out a box of cereal bars I pull one out and open the packet. Without warning I feel large arms wrap around my waist and a strong body pressed into my back.
"What are you doing out of bed?" He growls down my ear, his breath making my knees weak. Grinning from ear to ear I tilt my head allowing him to get closer, my eyes closing softly as he plants kisses down my neck "come back with me, I'll make it worth your while," spinning around to face him I smile,
"Will you now?" He leans down slowly to plant a kiss on my lips, his wicked tongue tracing softly over my bottom lip, almost asking for permission. Allowing him access our tongues dance together as he deepens the kiss, gently but forcefully pushing me onto the counter and lifting my vest top over my head.

I run my fingers down his chest and over his abs making me moan,
"Bedroom?" He growls again but I shake my head, giggling. Purring under his breath his yanks me into his body and takes control.

5 and a half months ago

"Hello," I whispered down the phone not wanting to wake the Adonis lay beside me. His dark hair messy as he slept, he arm still draped over my waist.
"Yes. Speaking, is everything okay?" I nodded as the lady spoke to me on the other end, letting out a deep sigh, I flopped back onto the bed as gently as possible, "thank you, bye," I place the phone back on the bedside table and roll back onto Graysons arm.
"Who was the that?" His deep voice purred throughout the room, making my body tingle.
"It was the hospital, I'm not pregnant Gray, they said it could still have been left over hormones from our boys,"
"how do you feel?" He propped himself up on his elbow,
"Almost relieved " I say cupping his face with my hand, stroking his soft stubble. "You?"
"I don't know."

Present day - Grayson

We panted as I threw her down softly onto the couch,
"Wow," I laughed and lay beside her,
"You better believe it baby girl," I said flexing for her as she giggled next to me, I just stared at her beauty. Her emerald eyes had been grey for a long time but now they shone like diamonds in the night sky. "Evangeline?"
"Mmhmm?" She replied slipping my shorts over her bottom half and pulling the waistband right in.
"I want a baby," she looked at me, her eyes wide. I almost panicked but then I remembered who I was talking to, this was my Evangeline, the woman who I could tell absolutely anything to and she wouldn't judge me. She was my entire world in one single, tiny person. But this time she wasn't saying anything. She said more when I surprised her the first time I saw her pregnant. Fucks sake Gray, I reprimand myself. She wasn't ready.
"Okay," she whispers and I snap my head around to look at her once again
"What did you say?"
"I said okay, let's try for a baby," joy spreads throughout my body and into my soul.
"Are you sure? We can wait if you like?"
"Are you trying to talk me out of your idea?" She mocks, cocking her head to one side, "I said yes, when do you want to start?"
"Right now," I grinned, rolling on top of her and kissing her like I'd never kissed her before, her returning my kiss, "well in about ten minutes," she howled with laughter.

Six weeks later

"Hey baby," My Evangeline cooed as she padded across the front room placing herself beside me at the breakfast bar.
"Hey yourself handsome," my eyes ran down her body, her breathtaking tanned body. Her long blonde hair curling down her back, her sharp cheekbones and perfectly plump lips, the curve of her breasts and her waist to her hips and all the way down her long slim legs. "Earth to Gray?" I brought my gaze back up to her face,
"Sorry, a bit caught up in your body," she let out a small laugh,
"We need to go shopping today," I smiled and nodded
"Okay baby, let me get dressed,"

Evangeline

He walked away and damn it was good watching him, shirtless with his shorts hanging off his hips. Quickly a knock at the door snapped me back to reality.
"Hello?" I answered the door to a beautiful short black haired woman with dark brown eyes and she smiled at me sadly.
"Hello, I'm looking for Grayson Angel," I smiled and stood aside making room for her to come in but she didn't move,
"Gray," I shouted and almost immediately he came through the hallway looked concerned,
"What's the matter? Oh hello," he smiled at the woman and the door briefly before turning back to me,
"This lady, sorry I didn't ask your name?" I said turning back to face her,
"It's Alexa,"
"Alexa asked for you," he walked towards us slowly,
"Hi, how can I help you,"
"I think we need to talk Grayson... about this," she moves the bag from in front of her body and reveals a massive baby bump, I snap my head towards Grayson who's eyes are as wide as mine as my heart begins to shatter into a million pieces. It wasn't hard, they were simply only clinging on.
