Three days later

Grayson

"Grayson Angel!" My full name being called across the beach shocked me, even more so when I turned and saw who it was.
"Mum?"
"How dare you!" She hollered and I Quickly made my way down the few steps from the lifeguard tower and planted my feet into the warm sand. I shot a look over at Beau who scooped the float from over my shoulder and took off doing my rounds down the beach, a smiled a small smile in thanks. "How fucking dare you!"
"Woah!" I put my hands out in surrender as she finally reached me her finger poking into my bare chest, "I haven't done anything," reaching into her purse she pulled out a photocopy of a piece of paper and handed it me,

The test has concluded that there is a 75% chance that Grayson Azekial Angel is the biological father of this baby.

My jaw dropped to the floor. It wasn't true! I hadn't ever seen Alexa before. But this made sense, why Evangeline had changed the locks, why she wouldn't answer the phone, why no one had seen her for three days. "It isn't mine mum! I promise, the only babies I am the daddy to are the ones up there," I pointed to the sky sadly and she softened slightly.
"The thing is Grayson, 75 is a bloody high percentage for them not to be yours! Granted I thought it had to be like 100% but Jesus Gray, I've had Evangeline on the phone to me, she's devastated,"

Oh shit, a horrible, haunting thought appeared in my mind, she had no support left. Nothing to live for and god knows I wasn't enough to keep her from trying to get to our boys last time, this time she doesn't even think she has me. I gagged. "What's up?" My mother asked, her arms folded across her chest, still glaring at me.
"Evangeline," I stammered, "she erm, she tried to kill herself when we lost the twins, what if she tries again mum? I need to find her, I need to figure out what the fuck is going on!" Slowly and wrapped her arms around me,
"You go sort this," she said tapping her finger on the paper in my hands, "I'll go make sure Eves okay," I smiled and nodded as she walked away, before she turned to me "that baby better not be yours Grayson, or I'll kill you myself,"

Evangeline

"Eve?" The voice behind the door was soft and gentle and I knew exactly who it was. I let out a soft sigh of relief. Slowly I padded over to the door and clicked the lock, opening it just enough to let her in. And once more I burst into tears. "Come here, we're going to sort this whole mess out,"
"Have you seen Gray?" She nodded, her lips turning up slightly,
"He's says he's not the father and Eve, I believe him,"
"So did I," I sob before quickly stopping. No more crying. "Suzie, I need to go somewhere and I'd like it if you'd come with me,"
"Okay darlin, anywhere you want, we'll talk in the car,"

Three days earlier

"Evangeline? I can't get in," he shouted from outside, "Evangeline my key won't work!" I didn't care. That was the idea of changing the locks. I sat on the sofa crying softly. What had I done so wrong for all of this to happen? First my boys and now my man. My entire world was crumbling around me, "Evangeline!" He shouted banging on the door,
"Hello?" I whispered putting the phone to my ear, "I need you,"

Suzie

"Suzie?"
"Yeah honey?" Suzie was amazing, her long brown hair cascaded down her back, for the mother to twins you'd have never guessed! She was slim with a beautiful face and a smile that warmed your heart. She took me into her home when I lost Sephy until I managed to get my own apartment.
"What happened with Jessie?" No one had told me anything, for all I knew she could be at home now with Grays baby whilst mine had gone.
"It wasn't Graysons."
"What?" My head snapped towards her as the car swerved almost crashing. I returned my eyes to the road,
"It turns out she slept with Cas thinking it was Gray at a party,"
"Oh my god, poor Jessie, so you have a grandchild at home?" I caught her shaking her head out of the corner of my eye.
"No, Castael convinced her to have an abortion, he didn't want a baby ruining his career." My jaw dropped,
"And she did?"
"Yes, she did."
"I'm so sorry Suzie." She smiled softly and placed her hand over my stomach,
"I think we're here,"
