Grayson

I glanced around the garden at our family and friends, we'd made a lot now, not just beau and rick. We'd finally settled.
"How's my paramedic doing?" My mum cooed walking over, a tall glass of champagne in her hand, already slightly tipsy. I'd started a new job a few weeks ago as a paramedic, finally completing my training. I grinned as I pulled her gently into me.
"Excited,"
"I bet! I'm going to go and find your father, it's almost time!" She squealed.
"Daddy!" A loud chorus came running at me, pouncing into my arms as I knelt down the receive them.
"Hey boys, where's mummy?" I glanced up watching my wife walk towards me barefoot through the warm, green grass. Her yellow summer dress cutting off just before her knees, long tanned legs on show. "Hey beautiful, you ready?" I asked, kissing her softly on the cheek.
"I was born ready?" Flashing her pearly whites at me we walked to the middle of the garden, our friends surrounding us.
"After three," we held two pins up to the large balloon.
"One....two...three," a loud roar of cheers swept through the room as I pulled my wife off her feet swinging her around.
"It's a girl," I cried into her ear, "We're having a girl."
