i lived in those little moments,
sneaking glances of you ,
watching you laugh with your dear ones
i envied them,
cause i wanted to be next to you,
close enough to feel your heart,
and for you to feel my love
i felt your presence,
even when you were far away
walking past you,
made my emotions rush hysterically
.
i always wanted to approach you,
but you were a forbidden star,
out of my reach
your life was already perfect,
and my presence wouldn't have
made any difference
.
loving you made me a fool
cause there was no point
in pushing a wall
which would never move
and thats when i took my leave
burning bridges between us
but i still want you to know
that i still live in those lucid dreams
where i am your one
and we walk on the path
which ends at happiness
