Running out of the building I was scared to death. I don't think that thing was human. I hear the screeching and a piercing. I knew the screeching was the "Thing" but I didn't know what the piercing sound was.
I turned to see a price of price of sharp ice lodged into Jades right lung. She fell to the ground. I turned to look at the demon but it was gone. Jade laid in the think mud on her back with the ice killing her.
I made it stop raining a little so it was now drizzling. The others looked at her wordless.
"I-I-can't breath."she looked at me. "Come on your gonna be all right." I tried to pick her up. She winced in pain. "No." She looked at Blaze. "I'm s-sorry. For hurting you g-guys in anyw-way." She stumbled. "You don't need to be sorry." Blaze whispered.
Jade smiled staring at the gray sunny-less sky. "I'm just happy I got my wish. I'm no longer trapped in my life." She began crying. But they were tears of joy. They left little scars down her cheeks.
She pointed to her heart. "Never stop fighting."
Then she just died right there on the ground. Edan kissed her hand and places her index, middle and ring finger on her forehead and brushed it down her scarred cheek. She got up. Everyone did the same including me. I got up and left with the others. That was the last time I saw Jade.
