Through out the epic battle my mind faded. I just got blurry, throbbing visions of everything. My head got a sharp pain every other throb.
I tried my ice but it wasn't working. I was out.
I ran to check on Wendell. The minute I turned the corner he was laying on the ground coughing. His shirt was ripped to shreds in the center of his chest. Purple, red, and yellow oozed from a large scratch a foot long and two inches wide. Sweat poured down his face and he was shivering.
I knelt to his side.
I almost fainted because of the recent throb. I raise my arm to my head and I saw a scratch that was a smaller scale of the lifeless body laying on the ground.
I nearly blacked out.
"Chrys, help me." He choked out. I tried all I could to form ice and I got a little. I put it straight on the giant two inch deep scratch on his chest.
He screamed in pain but then sighed in relief. Then he was out cold.
