We landed with a thud. Everyone unbuckled their seat belts and stood up. Grant dropped the landing and we came down. It wan still raining hard. The house was two stories high and very large. It was a dark brown house with white and gray trim. There were balconies on the second floor.

We ran through the rain with Zoe leading the way. She pressed here hand on a screen and it scanned it.

The door opened into a large hall. There was a kitchen to the left and a living room on the right. We all got inside and took off our torn and soaked shoes. "There is a library a pool a dining room a entertainment room and a secret bunker. Upstairs is all your rooms and bathrooms." Zoe spoke with her hands in her jean pockets. Grant handed us keys with numbers on them. 'Did you say secret bunker?" Wendell narrowed his eyes.

"Yes follow me." We followed he to the stair case leading to the second floor.

The were two doors beside the stairs that went under. Zoe took the left one. The was a small book shelf. I guessed it was the same on the other side.

She pushed the book shelf and it turned. To a secret staircase.

"That leads to a secret bomb proof bunker." Grant said. "Cool." Chrys said. "We will show you it tomorrow. Now go up to your rooms and clean up. I know it's late but you must be hungry so I'll make us a meal. So be down in like and hour." She rushed off to the kitchen. I ran up the stairs. My key said "#8" so I found my room and unlocked it.

The room was green.

The bedspread was a light neon green and the walls were a light pastel green. I looked in the bathroom and I had dark green towels with a dark green shower curtain and there were forest green rugs.

The first thing I did was peel off my clothes and get in the shower. I found it funny I had green tea shampoo and conditioner. I stayed in the shower for about fifteen minutes and got out to dry.

I wrapped myself in a towel and I found a pair of clean pajamas and underwear.

I slipped it on and looked in the small mirror beside my nightstand with my green lamp. They were mint green sweat shorts (sweat shorts are pajama shorts). I was standing in front of the mirror just in my sports bra. This is getting really annoying. Everything being green and all. I mean I don't only like the color green.

I pick up up the top off the bed and notice it's a white crop top. Thank god. I look in the mirror when I out it on and notice that there is a green tree design on the white shirt. You have got to be kidding me.

I put my hair in a quick fishtail braid.

I then brushed my hair teeth and opened my door to head down stairs.

But then I saw the number nine door at the end of the hall. The door was unlocked so I went in. It was exactly like my room except it was purple.

I knew it was for Jade. I sighed and shut the door to head to the kitchen,

I was the first down. Zoe was stirring a big pot. "Hey." I said.

She turned and smiled. "Hello, sit please." I sat at the nook. She walked over and and sat across from me. "So I hope your happy with your accommodations." "Oh they are lovely thank you."

She frowned. "Is there something wrong. You look sad." "How can you tell?" To tell the truth I was upset. I couldn't stop thin king about how my life stinks. "It's in your eyes." She looked at the table. "Well everything just seems to be falling apart. Like my father died today and do did Jade." I struggled not to cry. "Well you know what my philosophy is. Everything happens for a reason." She replied.

I giggled a little bit. "That's what Wendell said."I smiled. I wish I was with him like Chrys was with Blaze.

"What?" She asked. "Did I say that out loud." I realized I probably did. "Afraid so. You would make a good couple." "Thanks." That made my whole day. Or at least the rest of the night. "I've been waiting for Grant to tell me he likes me. I know he does." "You guys would look cute." I told her.

"Well it'll happen for both of us, guys always come to." She got up to stir the pot. I set the dining room for her and soon everything was going good. The rest if the group came down and ate.

We laughed and talked but it was all a blur. I went back upstairs and got in bed. But I couldn't sleep. I feared nightmares.

I decided if anyone could cheer me up it would be Wendell.

I knocks on his door and he answered quickly. "Can't sleep?" He said wide eyes. "Yeah." I came in. His room was the same but silver and gray. He was wearing a gray t shirt and black sweat pants. He gestured to his balcony. I leaned against the railing.

"The stars are pretty." He said. I realized it stopped raining. The air was humid and cold.

"Yeah." I replied. He looked at me and smiled. "So are you." He said. My heart started racing. "Yeah right." I punched him on the chest. "Seriously" my palms were sweaty. He stood up and looked at me.

I quit leaning on the railing and faced him. He faced me. He was three inches taller than me. He grabbed me bg the waist and kissed me.

My heart calmed down and I felt warmth around my body. I puts my hands on his shoulders. He pulled me close to him. I kissed him back.

We let go, I looked at him. He smiled. "Goodnight." He let me go. I walked to my room in silence. I crawled in my bed and fell fast asleep.

That was the best sleep I had in years.
