I saw Chrys run off. I got a mini heart attack. A big knot filled the bottom of my heart as I stood there and watched the beast take away the ones I loved. So...
I just stood there.
Watching.
Blinking.
Breathing.
And.
Waiting.
Waiting for them to take away everything I love so I couldn't hurt anymore.
I heard bombs go off in the distance. I began to cry. Each tear fell as a bomb went off.
I saw Edan fall to the ground and it looked like her neck snapped. She looked up giving me the sign she was still alive. She looked in so much pain.
I saw Zoe collapse to the ground.
I did a silent head count.
Half of us were fighting.
I felt for an arrow. There was one in the quiver. I grabbed it with shaky fingers and strung it in the string. I pulled back the feathered stick to my cheek and took a deep breath. I aimed for demon. And released.
The arrow flew from my hand in to hers. She screeched in rage and anger. I saw it boil in her eyes. She flew up with her wings and landed on the building in front of me. I drop my bow and backed up. I turned ready to run.
She began stomping towards me. I ran as fast as I could . She was right behind me. The adrenalin built up in side me so I jumped off the building without thinking. I closed my eyes in regret but I fell in to the arms of water.
I got settled down by Ocean. "Even though we are enemies, to become friends we defeat a common rival." I smiled and we headed into the heart of the fight.
