I crawled in my bed and fell asleep. I was woken up by screaming. It was the one in the morning. The screaming continued.
I walked down the hall. Zoe, Grant,Ocean, Ash, Chrys, and Blaze were also awoken. I rushed into Edan's room.
She was in a corner screaming with his hands over her ears and her eyes shut tight. I put my hand on her shoulder. She didn't move.
Zoe rushed over and shot a pen in her arm. She calmed down and fell asleep. "That was a tranquilizer that shuts her brain off for an hour, it has a soothing antidote for her nightmares, she'll be fine.
Everyone left the room except me. She sat in the corner curled up in a ball against the wall. I picked her up bride style and set her in her bed. I pulled the covers over her torso.
I walked to the other side of the bed and climbed in. I wrapped my arms around her and fell asleep.
I woke up with Edan sweating badly, she was mumbling and flinching. It was 5:24am I woke her up. She looked at me with dialated eyes. "Did you sleep with me?" "I couldn't leave you alone you looked so alone and scared." I replied.
"Well thanks but you didn't have to."she says looking up at me. "I know but I wanted too." I kiss her on the forehead then leave without saying a word.
