I was walking with Edan in silence. "So, cowboy are y'all going to a rodeo?" She did in a really bad country accent. "Shut up."I rolled my eyes.
"Hey don't hate the player hate the game." she says with her hands up in defiance.
I laugh at her remark. "Oh and by the way you actually look really hot in those boots... Mr. Cowboy." she says smirking.
We kept walking. I saw a women from the conference. She looked at and turned away. I paused and put my hand in front of Edan.
She faked getting a phone call and talked for about ten seconds. I saw Hydras running toward us. "Edan run!" We began running through the streets I turned a sharp corner and went into an ally. I grabbed Edan's waist and pushed air to the ground. We flew up on to the roof.
We peeked over a and saw Hydras looking for us. Edan made a small whimper to scream. I put my hand over her mouth.
She closed her eyes tight and breathed heavily. They ran out of the ally and I uncovered her mouth. "Are they gone?" She asked opening one eye. "Yeah I think we need to lay a little lower though."
We got up and I jumped down, Edan followed.
I need to hide my sword. I found sone tarp and wrapped it up and held it like a present.
We continued looking for Benny's.
We were walking across the street when a guy walked up to us on the street suspiciously. "So where you guys headin?" He asked in his deep voice. "Oh were just going to a dinner party." I said remembering the sword wrapped.
What's in the tarp. I hesitated. "Garlic bread, we wanted it to keep warm so we wrapped it in foil then plastic then a tarp." Edan saved it.
"Where's the dinner party?" He asked. I saw an oppertunity. "Well we actually need to pick up our friend who has directions to the party, but we don't know where he lives either so if you could actually give us directions that would be great."
He lost the suspicious look. "What's the address?"
"Well all we know is it's named Benny's Beds." Edan said sharply.
"You mean the hotel?"
"Yeah he works there." Edan exclaimed.
He regained a suspicious look. "Go up thus street, turn right on Vantu Ave. then go five blocks."
"Thank you sir." I said. We hurried away. To where the nice man told us to go. We found the building about thirty minutes later.
I grabbed the device Blaze gave to me and spoke into it. "We found it."
I waited five seconds. "Okay there should be a map on the screen just press the blue button on the side so we can come to you."Blaze replied. I pressed the button.
A red dot appeared where we were. I saw two green dots heading toward us from opposite directions.
All we could do now is wait.
