Backstory: He was a ranger at the Black Gate and knew Talion but was reassigned to Gondor before the Black Gate was attacked. Upon hearing about the attack he lefy Gondor and made his way to Mordor where is saw a bunch of orcs about to execute an uruk. He intervened and the Uruk(Smúg) pledged his life to him. The two made their way to Talion where they eventually found him(as a nazguel). Roland swore vengeance for him but Talion persuaded him to just help him keep back the forces of Sauron. Talion gave him a pure ring that granted Roland the ability to slow time.
