He is Ruby's older brother and is severely protective of her. After Summer died Thorn stayed with Ruby, Yang and Tai for four more years until a group of girls, who were supposedly Thorn's friends tied and taped him to a tree and beat him until his aura was depleted. They then carved the word "Mutt" Into his right arm as well as slashed his torso several times before untying him and burned his lower back. Six of the girls then left while the other two gave each other a smirk. An hour later when Qrow finally found Thorn the wolf faunus was barely clinging to life. Qrow rushed him to a hospital where he was treated for his wounds. A few days later the girls were charged with assault and attempted murder however Tai spoke against it and somehow got six of the girls to go free however Thorn spoke up about what the other two did after it was just them three. The two girls smiled sadistically and admitted it getting a sentence of life without parole. Thorn moved out of Tai's and moved in with Qrow but was never the same again. • Additonal info: His wound on his right arm has never properly healed and has to be sterilized and rewrapped every two weeks
