• Backstory:
The son of Ozpin and Salem his mom abandoned him allowing Qrow to find and return him to Ozpin. Azrail ran away after he and his father discovered his semblance. He found Qrow and asked for the scythe master to train him. After his training was complete he helped Robin keep an eye on Qrows nieces Ruby and Yang before returning to his father and was imprisoned.

Azrail believes he can use his semblance to truly defeat Salem. Robin was the one who asked him to bring Summer back but many obstacles are stopping him.
