• Backstory: Much is unknown except that the day after Summer died Scar appeared in Ruby's bedroom where she and Yang sat cowering in a corner as their father Tai destroyed the living room. Despite his appearance he was actually a great comfort to the girls since each time Tai went to him them the scarred boy or whatever he was stopped Tai. Over the years Ruby named him Scar and the three of them enjoyed life until Tai tried to rape Yang causing Scar to violently slaughter him. Ruby called Qrow and they agreed to move away while their friend Hunter helped them escape. Scar still has Tais head as a trophy
