• Backstory: The son of a military man and a huntress he wanted to help people and discovered his semblance when he was nine when he healed a girl's scraped knee. At sixteen he and the same girl were leaving their date before they were attacked by a mugger. Jared fought him off but the mugger shot his gun which hit the girl. Jared tried his best to keep her alive and transfer the wound to himself but nothing worked and she died in his arms. Since that night he has been a shell of his former self yet still helped people even taking away their pain. He met Ruby who was being bullied and helped her. Since then they've been best friends.
