I walk into the main residents of the entertainment group in search of my mother.

She called me earlier asking if Taehyung and I could come over for lunch.

She wasn't too surprised when I told her Taehyung was out taking care of business or whatever.

"Hello Mr. Park." One of the workers bow to me.

"Hello." I say nodding back. "Have you happened to seen my mother?"

"Oh yes. She waiting for you in her study." He says. "Should I show you?"

"No it's fine, thanks." I say before continuing on my way.

When I get upstairs to my mother's study I find her sitting on the couch reading.

"Eomma." I say announcing myself and getting her attention.

"Oh, Jimin-ah. I was starting to think you weren't coming." She says standing.

"I said I would." I smile at her but she doesn't return the smile. "It something wrong?"

"Sit down Jimin." She says gesturing to the seat across from her.

I sit down a bit hesitantly. "What's the matter?"

"It's about you and Taehyung." She starts making me nervous.

"Oh?" I ask trying to figure out what could possibly be wrong with Taehyung and me, besides what she doesn't know.

"There's a lot of talk going around about the engagement, as expected." Mother says. "A lot of people are saying somethings that are concerning me though."

I nod letting her continue with what she was saying.

"What's going on with you two?" She asks.

"What do you mean?" I ask.

"People are starting to doubt your relationship, Jimin." She says with a heavy sigh. "Even going as far as to say that everything was planned for money."

"Oh." I say, wasn't it though?

"We can't have rumors like that going around." Mother says sternly.

"Well, what am I supposed to do about that?" I ask, there's nothing I can do to stop people from talking.

"The second Taehyung gets back you guys are going on a trip. I don't care where and I don't care for how long. Just make sure you guys are in a public setting." She says.

I look at her for a moment before responding. "Taehyung's really busy, Mother. I don't know if we have time to take a trip anywhere."

"That's not up to you my love." She says. "Taehyung's parents and I have already agreed that it's what's best for you two."

"Of course you did." I mumble under my breath.

"If they start doubting that you two love each other then just imagine what will happen to our ratings? You guys are the only reason the younger crowd watch half of our productions."

I sigh running my fingers through my hair before standing. "I forgot that I was supposed to be meeting with a friend in little bit. I'm sorry Mother, but I to go now."

"You can't lose him, Jimin." She says standing as well. "Imagine what will happen to the family if you do."

Her words just make me angry but instead of showing my frustration I just leave.
