Jungkook

I step into Taehyung's office carrying the cup of tea he requested.

He sits at his desk with a pair of glasses on his face as he types away on his computer almost robotically.

"Here you are." I say setting the cup down.

He hums in thanks but barely spares a glance.

"Maybe you should take a break and drink your tea." I suggest seeing as his eyes look to be straining to focus on the screen.

"If I take a break I'll never finish." He says grabbing the cup of tea with one hand without looking away from the screen.

I sigh sitting down on the couch in the corner. "It's not good to stare at a screen for hours straight. That's probably why you have glasses now."

"Did you come here to lecture me about my work? If so you are welcomed to leave." He says.

"I'm just looking out for you baby." I say smirking at the way his typing falters for a moment.

"I don't need you to look out for me." He says.

"If I don't then who's going to? Jimin?" I ask, saying the name hurts almost.

    "Don't start, Kookie." Taehyung says.

"I take care of you because he doesn't. And if you would stop playing around with his feelings you could come to me." I say even though he hates the topic of leaving Jimin.

"I already told you, not yet." He says with something in his voice I can't quite make out.

"You always say that." I say mostly to myself as I look out the window to my left. "You say your heart is with me but you don't want to leave him. It doesn't make sense Tae. It's not fair to me or to you. Or Jimin."

"Since when do you care about Jimin?" Taehyung ask finally looking away from that goddamn computer.

"Just because it's Jimin doesn't mean I'm heartless. He doesn't deserve to be led on, it doesn't matter who he is. If I was in his position I'd be heartbroken." I say honestly. "You're making it worse by staying with him. Just tear the bandaid off quickly instead of ripping it slowly."

Taehyung sighs running his fingers through his hair and removing his glasses. "I just have some things to figure out still."

"....you still love him. Don't you?" I ask even though I know the answer is probably one I don't want to hear.

    "Jesus Christ, Jungkook~"

"Are you trying to choose between us? Is that it?" I ask standing and getting ready to leave if I have to.

"No. Don't be ridiculous." He says standing up and rounding his desk.

"You're only with me because I fuck you, is that it?" I ask stepping away as he nears me.

"Now you're just talking to hear yourself talk, aren't you?" He asks crossing his arms. "You know the only reason I'm marrying Jimin is so his family will be financially secure in the future, even if I divorce him afterwards."

"Why do you give a fuck about his family?" I ask throwing my hands up in frustration.

"Because, like you said. Just because it's Jimin, doesn't mean I'm heartless." He says crossing his arms.

"That's not what I meant." I mutter rolling my eyes.

"You know I love you, Kookie. I just have to make sure his family is alright. It's the least I could do after what I've done, or what I'm going to do." He says meeting my gaze. "Please understand that."
