Chapter 2

PAIGE'S POV

After we all said hi and gave each other hugs we went for a little walk round the field near the park.

Danny: c'mon guys look there's some trees and a bridge and water!

Tom: ok Danny it's not that exiting (we all laughed)

Emily: I suppose it's something to do

Me and Dougie walked off across the bridge and into the trees

Paige: hey Dougie come over here!

Dougie ran up to a tree with me and I started to climb up it.

Dougie: erm... Are u gonna be ok up there babe?

Paige: don't worry it's ok as long as u don't stand on this branch over there. C'mon!

Dougie: erm.... (Scared) erm ok one sec....

He put his phone in his pocket and grabbed the first branch and started to climb.

Paige: u ok down there?

Dougie: erm... Well not really!...

Paige: u scared?

Dougie: erm.... Err no!

Paige: u sure? Cause u don't look it

Dougie: no no I'm fine babe

I carried on climbing to the top and sat on one of the highest branches.

Dougie was struggling to get up and he took a while but I waited for him and he started to get the hang of it and wasn't as scared until he looked down and saw how high he was.

Dougie: ahh! Erm... Paige?..

Paige: yeah?

Dougie: don't u think it's a little high?

Paige: c'mon it's not that high Doug.

He carried on trying to climb up to me and his foot slipped and I heard him scream. I quickly turned to look at him and I saw he was hanging of a branch that was coming off.

Paige: Dougie just keep holding on! I'm coming down to he u! Just wait I won't be long baby!

Dougie: ok I don't think I can hold on much longer

Paige: don't worry I'm coming

I climbed down to Dougie as fast as I could and I grabbed his hand as I also grabbed into the tree so that I didn't fall.

Dougie: I'm slipping! Quick!

I pulled him up quickly and tried to use all my strength to pull him up.

Paige: grab onto this branch up here

I finally got him up and he got hold of the branch above us. He sat up on the branch and I sat next to him and held him so he didn't fall.

Paige: u alright babe?

Dougie: not really... I'm kinda scared of hights....

Paige: Don't worry it's ok u won't fall. We are lower now

Dougie: ok cutie I'll be ok with u.

He leaned in to kiss me and it was perfect.

Paige: do u trust me?

Dougie: course I do babe

I leaned against the tree and pulled him closer to me. I could feel him shake a little as I moved him across the branch. I saw him look down into the grown and he grabbed me tightly. I pulled him closer to me so we were touching and I held him as we laid on the branch.

Paige: u ok sexy?

Dougie: (he sighed in relief that he was ok) yeah I am with u babe.
