Chapter 45

~ almost a year later ~

DANNYS POV

I set off to angels knew house because I got a call from her this morning asking to meet her here. Ive been really scared of coming incase she doesn't like me. I bet she's living the dream. She probably likes it better without me. For me when she was in the crash my whole world ended but I bet it was her happy ending. I was never a good boyfriend. At least I don't think I was.

I walked up to her door and knocked, nervously.

She then finally answered...

Angel: hey! It's danny right?

Danny: hi err yeah. Yeah it's danny Jones

Angel: ah sorry I forget things like that now. I mean after all that happened.

Danny: (feeling upset about the memories) don't worry about it. Can I come in?

Angel: course u can danny. Make urself at home.

I stepped into her house and walked over to the living room where I saw her TV on and two little dogs running round.

Danny: wow it looks like UVE done a lot in these past months.

Angel: yeah well suppose with the crash and everything I thought I'd start a fresh and make it like nothing happened.

I nod and sit down on the comfy black leather sofa.

Angel: would u like a tea?

Danny: erm yes please if ur making one.

She walked off into the kitchen and I heard the kettle boil.

Danny: so how've u been since the crash? (Trying to say it with out feeling bad or upset)

Angel: (shouting from the other room) well I mean it's been hard. But I can cope. I've got my dogs and I'm getting a turtle soon. But I've never got a boyfriend. I don't know why. I've just never felt the need. As if I already had a relationship, U know before the crash. Anyways how's everything with u these days?

I sighed as I wanted to tell her so bad about me and her. But I haven't told her yet because I thought she wanted to start a fresh. I guess she does. I just wish we could still be together and be married with kids and an amazing life.

Angel walked back into the living room with a tray with two drinks on it.

Danny: thanks (she sat down)

We carried on talking for ages catching up on some things (not our relationship of course) and then just wrote I was about to leave...

Angel: oh wait just before u go. Erm well... I was wondering if u would like to go for diner sometime? I know it's normally the guy that asks and u don't have to, I understand if u don't.

Danny: (turning to face angel) erm yeah. I'd love to.

Then she smiled as me and I smiled back before I walked off to my car and drive off.

This is what I've been wanting for ages. Since the crash all I've wanted to do was to get back with angel. And now we can both start a fresh and it would be like nothing bad ever happened. It could be our happy ending after all.
