Chapter 9

PAIGE'S POV

Angel and Emily took me back to my house and I couldn't stop worrying and crying. I just hoped he would be ok. I don't know what I would do if anything happened to Dougie.

When we got back to mine I stopped shouting and screaming for Dougie and we just sat in the sofa. Angel and Emily comforted me and Emily got us all some hot chocolate.

Angel: are u sure ur ok?

Paige: yes I'm fine I've already told like a million times.

Angel: ok we just wonna know if ur ok that all.

Emily: yeah we were worried about ya

Angel: I mean who knows what could have happened.

Paige: ok but I'm fine now let's just stop talking about it and go to bed.

We all went up to bed and the girls went in the spare rooms. I laid in the empty bed and started to cry. I didn't want to go to sleep no matter how tired I was. I was too scared for Dougie. I decided to call Dougie just to make sure he's ok.

Paige: hey babe! U ok?! What's happened?! Are u hurt?! Please say ur ok! I lov u so much I never should have left u!

Dougie: (trying to keep hold of the phone as he's laid on the grass) heyyy babe... I love u too and don't worry about me I'm fine.

Paige: where are u?! I'll come get u!

Dougie: no no it's fine u need anymore stress than u already have babe. I've got a place to stay out here I'll be fine ok?

Paige: ok... Alright then I love u, u know that! Always remember that ok.

Dougie: alright night I love u.

DOUGIE'S POV

I hung up the phone and felt a sharp pain up my back. "Ouch" I say to myself. The man beat me and then just left me in pain on the ground in the middle of no where. My head was hurting even worse than before and I could even stand at all anymore. I couldn't walk. There was no strength or power in my body to even stand up to get back home and I don't want Paige to worry about me. She'd be terrified if she knew what state I was in so I couldn't tell her.

I tried to move just a little to get my head of the concrete and onto the grass. I decided to pull myself over to a tree and I went to sleep.

~In the morning~

I woke up with the sun shining right at me. My head wasn't feeling any better and I still could hardly feel my legs. I had dried blood all over my face and body from last night.

After a while a guy came up to me.

Guy: oi mate what u doin?

Dougie: I got beaten up

Guy: ooh I'm sorry mate are u alright?

Dougie: does it look like it?

Guy: ok come with me I'll take u back home. U live round here?

Dougie: yeah that would be great thanks. I live a couple roads down from here.

The guy picked me up and put me into a car that he drove off to my house. He helped me out of the car and to the door. Then he left straight away.

I ring the door bell and waited for someone to come.

Some one came and I suddenly felt really dizzy and faint and then I dropped to the ground as Paige opened the door.

Paige: OMG DOUGIES HERE! GUYS COME QUICK! CALL AN AMBULANCE HES UNCONSCIOUS! QUICK!

She lifted me up and sat with me on the sofa covered in blood and unconscious.

Finally the ambulance came and took me away to the hospital. Paige came with me but there was only knew person aloud in with me.

PAIGE'S POV

We went to the hospital and I waited in the waiting room for someone to come out and tell me he was ok. Not long after angel and Emily came an they yet again comforted me. We waited for hours until someone came out to give us something on how Dougie is....
