Chapter 42

Three nurses came bursting into the room that we were both in and one of them told me to leave the room.

Danny: b...but... I need to see her... She's just woke up!

They didn't listen to me and just shoved me out of the room. All I saw of Angel was her eyes slowly open and I just saw her confused face as I left the room. She didn't really look at me much. But when she did it didn't feel like angel. I don't know why but she didn't seem to look at me the same way she used to.

~later that evening~

Nurse: danny Jones? U may come in now.

Danny: oh thank you so much!

I ran in and sat next to her in the same seat as before.

Danny: hey babe. U ok now?

She looked at me confused.

Angel: what?... Who's ur babe?... And who... Are u?

Danny: (I could see she was starting to panic) calm down... It's me... Remember? Danny?... Ur boyfriend?...

I started to feel a tear drop down my cheek. I grabbed hold of her hand and hoped that she would remember me. I can't believe this. We could be engaged right now.

Danny: I'm danny Jones. We have been going out for a while now and... I was about to... To ask u to marry me before this all happened.

Angel: but who even are u? I don't know frickin know who u are! Will u please jst leave me alone?!

Danny: (really crying a lot now) but... Ok... I... (Sighs) I love... I love u angel and u just need to know that before I go.

I slowly left the room as I saw angel get further and further away from me. I felt like I'd never be able to make her remember me again never mind love me again.
