Chapter 13

DOUGIE'S POV

It's been three weeks now since we found out that Paige was pregnant. We have decided to go to the hospital just to make sure that the babies fine.

~at the hospital~

When we got to the hospital we had to wait for a while until a nurse came out to tell us we can come in.

We both walked into the room anxiously and I helped Paige onto the bed. The doctor put some blue / green gel stuff on to her belly as I held her hand. The doctor had a look at the baby and we could see the baby on the screen. I tried to hold back the tears cause I felt like I had to be the man (duh).

Dougie: look that's our baby!

Paige: (tears filling her eyes as she sees the screen and hugs me) yeah our baby looks so beautiful doesn't she?... Or he!

Dougie: yeah he or she does

Doctor: so what sex would u like them to be?

Paige: eh... Sorry them?

Doctor: yes ur having twins

Dougie: (Paige looked straight at me) oh...

I was in so much shock an It was all too much to take in a once. One minute we're having a baby and the next we're having twins.

Paige: it's ok Doug, we can do this ok?

Dougie: yea ur gonna be a great mum u know that

I passed Paige a tissue and she wiped the gel off her stomach as the doctor got us a picture of our babies. I held Paige's hand all the way home and all she did the whole time was smile and look at the picture.

Paige: wow! We are havin' twins!

Dougie: I know and it's all gonna be fine baby

I stopped the car out side our house and kissed her lightly before we left the car.

We decided to organise a celebration party for the babies.

~the party~

We invited a load of people we knew and before we knew it people already started to arrive. After about 10 minutes the boys and angel and Emily came in.

PAIGE'S POV

Paige: heyyy guys!

Angel: hey gurl how ya doin'? I can't believe ur pregnant!

Emily: yeah me to we're so happy for ya!

Paige: oh Thanks guys and I'm doing great thanks. It's a lot to take in tho u know finding all this out at once. I mean it only feels like yesterday when I opened the door to a unconscious Dougie. And now he's going to be the farther of my children.

I started to cry and angel and Emily rushed to me to give me a big friendly hug.

They always know how to make ya feel better at rough times. (Even though angels not so good with people crying lol)

Later that evening we started to party a lot more. I obviously couldn't drink so Dougie didn't either seen as he didn't want me to drink.

Dougie took me of into a quiet area to talk.

Dougie: babe, u ok? All evening u been looking down.

Paige: no it's nothing

Dougie: I know when there's something upsetting u, ur my girlfriend

Paige: (sighs) ok... I'm just scared Dougie! I'm really scared!

Dougie: it's ok baby don't worry, it's all going to be ok. And I'm always here for ya no matter what, u remember that ok?

Paige: yeah... Ok thanks Doug I love u more than ever!

We both kissed and Dougie placed his hand on my stomach.

Dougie: I love u too!
