Chapter 10

The doctor came out of Dougie's hospital room to tell us how he is.

Doctor: are u Mrs Poynter?

Paige: oh er no but I'm Dougie's girlfriend.

Doctor: oh ok well I should tell u that ur boyfriend has a good chance of being ok. He might be able to leave by next week but we'll keep him in for a bit to see if he'll be alright to leave.

Paige: THANK YOU SO MUCH DOCTOR!

I felt a lot better knowing he's ok. I decided to go back home and get a shower and go to bed finally after two days of not sleeping.

~a week later~

I woke up and it was raining. Just great to start off my day. I headed back to the hospital to see if Dougie was ok to leave today.

At the hospital I was aloud to go in to see him. His eyes opened as I walked in and I kissed him lightly on the forehead.

Paige: I've missed u

Dougie: (struggling to speak) I've missed u too baby. I love u.

Paige: I love u too

U both had a little chat an then the doctors had to do one last check in him before he could leave.

After about half an hour I saw a doctor and Dougie come out of the room.

Doctor: he's ok to go now but he'll need taking care of for a while.

Paige: ok thank you doctor I promise I'll do exactly that.

We left the hospital happily and went straight back to our house. We had some diner and I helped Dougie with the cutting and stuff like that. We had a good day and we watched horror films even tho I hate them. But just for Dougie I put them on so he could cuddle me and I know he loves to watch scary movies.

We went to bed and I kissed him one last time before I fell asleep.
