CAITLIN POV

I decided that I would wait up for Louis tonight. I saw him briefly this morning but he'd been pretty busy lately with the tour, interviews and writing that I hadn't seen him an awful lot.

Things had been going really well with him lately. I hadn't been getting fearful and running off in the middle of everything which was good, considering that was what I usually.

I wasn't exactly sure if Louis and I were actually at the whole 'boyfriend and girlfriend' stage. We hadn't exactly spoken about it. And I couldn't assume anything, considering his big status in the world.

Thankfully, his presence in my room interrupted my thoughts. I weakly pushed the door open and made sure that I wasn't dozing off.

"Hey Lou. How was the concert?" I opened my mouth first. I surprisingly wasn't feeling that tired, despite my pretty busy week at dancing.

"Um great! But can I ask you something?" Louis didn't sound like his usual self. He seemed suddenly really nervous, similar to the first time he asked me out.

"Sounds serious! What's up?" I replied, doing my best not to freak out. I wasn't sure what he was going to say.

"I um just wanted to know if you would um...maybe like to come to Australia with the boys and I? You can see your family and friends and you can see us perform if you want." He sounded unsure but also really excited at the same time, if that was possible.

"On one condition?"

"Yeah?"

"You meet my family and friends." I mainly said that for the sake of Claudia. She'll kill me if I come home with Louis and she doesn't get to meet him.

"Deal." He answered with a large smirk planted on his lips.

I was so excited. The news that I was dreading to hear turned out to be the greatest thing that I had heard in a while.

"We leave in 2 weeks today. Is that alright?" He asked me hopefully.

"Sounds perfect."

We said our good nights before we kissed for a while. Not heated, just slow and passionate. I was falling hard for this boy, and I wasn't ashamed.

LOUIS POV

I had asked Caitlin if she wanted to come to Australia with us in a couple of weeks. I thought I'd ask her there (or on the way there) if she wanted to be my girlfriend.

I had had a word to Paul after our meeting today and asked if I could bring Caitlin with us to Australia. He was the only who had actually met her, and he was fine with it. He had to of course check with management and they obliged, but we had to keep her under wraps, which I'm sure she would have wanted that anyway.

She graciously accepted, but I did have to meet her family and friends, and I took it that I had to meet her parents.

Last time I met a girlfriend's parents, they wouldn't stop asking me questions the whole time, and I was really frustrated by the end of it. It was obvious that they didn't like me, no matter how hard I tried. Hopefully this time would be different.

I decided to not yet tell Caitlin about mentioning her to management. I thought I'd get her to be my girlfriend first, before pressuring her into meeting strangers in suits, pressuring with questions.

I went back to my room with a feeling of anxiety for the trip that would take place in 2 weeks. This made me unable to sleep.

I'd been really getting into writing lately, it was the perfect way to get everything off of your chest, and I thought that that would be a good thing to do to pass my time.
