A New Turn

Chapter 26

HARRY POV

"Hey mate, can you pass me the sauce?" I asked Niall as he was chomping on a burger. Niall had made us a barbecue for dinner. Liam, Dani, Niall, Bri, Zayn, myself and obviously Niall sat around a large wooden table in the Irishman's apartment. Casual banter filled the moments when no one was chewing. That was until Zayn asked me a question that shut everyone up.

"So Harry, why were you kicked out of your apartment?" All eyes fell to me as they waited for an answer. Niall was the only one still chewing, then he swallowed. It was kinda scary having 6 pairs of eyes on me. I hadn't mentioned Louis and Caitlin yet. I take it that now was the right time.

"Ah they're downstairs." I immediately took another bite of my burger after I spoke. For some reason I was having trouble telling them.

"Doing what?" This time it was Dani. She spoke just before she took a sip of her water.

"Um they're ummm kind of on a date." And as expected, Dani did a spit take. It was really funny so I began giggling, but no one else was. Everyone else was quite focused on what I had just said. Somehow their expressions looked blank, excited and confused all at the same time. I had no idea that that was possible.

"Wait are you serious?" It seemed like Niall thought that I was kidding.

"I'm serious." I informed them all.

"So how did this happen?!" Liam seemed over excited. Probably due to the news that he had told me that morning.

"Well I'll do what Louis did and summarise; Caitlin was crying..." I was put to stop a moment. Niall was interrupting.

"Crying about what?!"

"If you had let me finish, I would have told you that it was over some hate that she received for hanging out with us last night."

"I love our fans but seriously she did nothing wrong..." Niall kept rambling on as I lifted my eyebrows at him. "Sorry, continue."

"As I was saying, Caitlin was crying and Louis came and told me about how he wanted to talk to her but he didn't have the courage. So after a very uplifting pep talk by me, Louis went to go and see Caitlin. And Louis tells me that they kissed twice and he confessed his crush on her and etc. etc."

"Well this is all very exciting but I still don't get why you kicked out of your apartment..." Bri asked me.

"Well she didn't want to get hated even further at this point in time, she they're just having dinner downstairs."

LOUIS POV

I waited patiently in the kitchen. It was 6:58, and I was freaking out. I was suited up in my best tux and favourite tie and I sat intently at the island bench. That was until I heard the clacking of heels coming down the wooden stairs.

I stood up immediately and stood keenly about 10 metres from the bottom of the stairs. Then a pair of elegant black heels appeared, before a darkened blue dress could be seen. As she stepped further down the stairs, I could fully see the gorgeous blue dress then her perfectly curled hair and then her dazzling face. I was in utter awe.

She reached the bottom and we just stared into each other's eyes. It was like I was living in a movie, I just couldn't describe the feeling.

"Good evening Caitlin." I did my best to sound somewhat sophisticated. I took her hand and led her to the kitchen.

I had set it up like your pretty typical date. Candles lit the table and the lights above were dimmed.

The night went perfectly. It was practically filled with a lot of getting to know you kind of stuff. I found out so much about her. She was such a crazy person, and considering that I had a pretty whacked personality, I could tell that she was going to suit that just fine.

I wasn't much of a cook so I decided take out would be the better option. I had picked up some Chinese from down the street.

I could tell really quickly that Caitlin and I had an amazing bond. She had a wonderful sense of humour and her laugh, I don't think I could ever get tired of hearing it.

---THE NEXT MORNING---

My night with Caitlin couldn't have gone smoother. She looked absolutely beautiful.

I awoke to the sounds of pounding on the door. "Come in." I managed to croak out. Suddenly, 4 young lads strolled into my room.

"Sup bro!" Liam spoke in a cocky tone. It was so obvious as to what they were hinting.

"Did you guys really have to wake me up?"

They all shared a glance and then looked back at me.

Simultaneously, they all spoke one word: "Yep."

And then the questions started. Zayn was the worst. I thought Harry was going to be bad but he already knew Caitlin like the back of his hand, so he was fine.

"Was she hot?" Zayn really needed to stop. He needed to meet someone.

"Zayn, shut up!" Harry snapped back at him.

"Sorry! I'm just curious..."

"Seriously Lou, how did it go?" Niall chirped out.

I sat up immediately in my bed and 4 boys then sat around me. They had no boundary issues whatsoever.

The more I thought about the night and Caitlin in general, a bigger smile would appear on my face. I just couldn't fight the feeling.

"Amazing." was the only word that I could let out. I felt like such a dork, but on the other hand, I really did not give a shit.

"That's awesome bro." Harry was so supportive.

"Alright boys, another show tonight! Are we ready?!" Zayn was pretty good at changing topics. Sometimes he uncomfortable over the most stupid things, he needed a girl.

"Yes!!!" Niall got very excited over anything to be honest.

"Being on tour is truly unbelievable isn't it?!" We were practically our own little mother's club.

It was now 12 o'clock in the afternoon and after some more banter with the boys, we decided that the best way to past time would be to play some videos games. You know, boys will be boys.

CAITLIN POV

I sat in my bed the next morning with only Louis on my mind. I couldn't help but smile.

At that moment, I received a text from Claudia. I had text yesterday afternoon telling her to call me when she got a chance and that I had big news. She didn't know about Louis yet, which was awkward. It sucked to be her, like really.

It contained only 2 words; "CALL ME!!!" and with that my laptop was in my hands. Before I could click on anything, a message with Claudia's name popped up saying that she was calling me. I was so happy.

"Hello!!!!!" She sounded super excited, which was surprising, because it was about 1am in Melbourne. I would have been buggered.

"Heyyyy!! I have news." I tried not to sound to excited. I knew she would make up for it soon.

"WHAT WHAT WHAT?!!! Please tell me!!!" She needed to calm down.

"Well Louis and I had a date last night and..." Before I could say another word, muffled screams filled my ears. Oh god.

"CAITLIN ARE YOU SERIOUS?!! THIS IS SO EXCITING!! HOW DID IT HAPPEN?!!"

Then I told her the story. How he kissed me, she screamed a little too loud for my liking at that part, how he asked me and how I kissed him. Once again, a lot of screaming. This girl needed to calm down. And then the date and what I wore and what we spoke about etc. etc.

"So when are you going out again?!"

I AM SO SORRY FOR NOT UPDATING FOR A WEEK!!! Gahhh I feel so bad!! But school is finished so I'm at home for a bit so I'll update more regularly! I'm going to the snow on Thursday night though until Monday but I'll do my best to update!! Shoutout to 5SOS to making a TRULY INCREDIBLE album!! I'm so proud of them!
