CAITLIN POV

Claudia stopped for a minute. She had had bad break ups in the past but not because of cheating. More for things like growing apart. I wish that had happened to me. Everything would have been so much easier.

"Look, I don't exactly know how. But you need to figure it out as you go along. And not make any more crazy movements!...No offense."

She was right. There was no immediate answer to this. Everyone gets over things in a different way. I just had to find mine.

LOUIS POV

"Alright Haz. I'm gonna go have an early one. Night lad."

An episode of Friends had just finished and I didn't have the strength to concentrate on another one.

"Alright, night buddy." I gave him a fist bump as I trotted up the stairs.

I reached the top the stairs and before I could turn right towards my room, it bought I heard some giggling coming from the left. More specifically, Caitlin's room.

I never spied on anyone. But I thought, what the hell. If I was going to make a move on Caitlin in the near future, I thought I would need to get to know her.

I tiptoed to her door. It turns out that I hadn't fully closed it and it was open about an inch. I peered in to see her leaning on her arms, speaking to a computer. I furthered looked in to see her speaking to someone on the computer screen.

She was olive skinned with straight black hair. Her Hazel eyes contained the reflection of Caitlin's face. I couldn't see fully what she was wearing but it looked like she was wearing some kind of band t-shirt. I couldn't tell which though.

It seemed I had peered in on them while Caitlin was telling this girl about her day here and her recent experience with me. Oh god, I'm shouldn't have done this. But listening to this was like chocolate; once you started, it was hard to stop.

"Caitlin, why? Why would you do that? I've known you for what? 6 years? You have never ever struck me as someone to do that!" It sounded like this girl had known Caitlin for a while. Maybe even her best friend.

"I know, I know, I know. I honestly have no idea what fell over me. I can't express that enough. But what I felt was indescribable. I want to feel it more." Caitlin spoke the music to my ears. I felt like a little girl, which was embarrassing. I could feel my cheeks go red and I could feel the butterflies erupt in my stomach.

"Seems to me like someone is falling in lllloooovvvveee!" I like this girl. She can stay for as long as she wants. Seriously, what was her name?

Caitlin paused for a moment. I think she knew it was true, but too afraid to admit it. "Ok maybe. But how can I after what happened with Justin?"

She was still really hung up after what happened with that douche. And who could blame her? I mean was still hung up on the thing with Emma. That moment with Caitlin today was the most action I'd had in a solid 6 months. I hadn't really had the chance to get close to anyone at the moment because the band was really taking off. That was good but, I wanted, actually more like needed, someone in my life.

"I know it's hard gorgeous. But you are going to have to move on especially! And what a bonus if it was with a hunk of a guy like Louis freaking Tomlinson!" Seriously, who was this girl? We needed her around more often. Like all the time.

"Yeah, but how?" Her voice was filled with so much thought and worry. All I wanted to was run in and hug her but no.

"Look, I don't exactly know how. But you need to figure it out as you go along. And not make any more crazy movements!...No offense." This girl also gave brilliant advice. I couldn't get over how amazing this girl was. We needed her around.

"Thanks Claudia. I needed that. You're a gem!" Ok Claudia. I was going to bring her to London in the near future. She was awesome.

"You're welcome sweetie! Remember I'm always here! I want to come see you when you settle in!" I liked that idea very much.

"Ok well I'd better go. It's pretty late here. I'll talk to you soon! Love ya girl!"

She signed off quickly. Suddenly, she stood up from her desk and started heading towards the door. Holy crap, that was where I was. I had gotten so engrossed in the conversation that I had forgotten what I was doing.

I panicked. She definitely was going to catch me. But I had to make a move to my room now. And I hopefully act casual as I did so.

She was only about a 1 metre from the door now. Shit, I needed to make a decision now.

It appeared that my only option was to run to my door.

I built up a slow jog for all of about 5 seconds before I had to begin walking again, as I heard her footsteps in the hallway.

As I reached for the handle, she spoke to me. "Hey Lou."

"Oh hey! What have you been up to?"

"Just talking to my best friend Claudia back home. You know I reckon you would like her."

"Oh really? Well she is welcome anytime!"

"Hahaha ok! Well I'm off to get a glass of water and then I'm off to bed. Night!"

"Night Caitlin!"

Thank god. I don't reckon she noticed so I'm pretty sure I'm all good. Fingers crossed.

I still couldn't get over what Caitlin had said. It rung in my head like a top 40 sing that was way too over played on the radio.

"But what I felt was indescribable. I want to feel it more."

I got changed into my pyjamas and jumped straight into bed. I couldn't fall asleep though.

The words still rung through my head. I don't think it was ever going to stop.

It appeared it was hung up on me. And I certainly hung up on her.

HARRY POV

I think I'd watched an entire series of Friends has I began feeling the heavy tiredness of my eyes. Time to go to bed.

I switched off the tv and sat up off my lazy ass. When suddenly, I heard small pads coming down the stairs, sounded like they were coming from Caitlin.

"Hey Caity."

"Hey Haz. Aren't you tired?"

"Yeah I'm just heading up to bed now. You?"

"Yeah same."

"So how did you spend the evening?"

"You remember Claudia yeah?"

"Yeah. Your best friend right?"

"Yeah! I just spent the night talking to her. I promised I would when I left this morning, or yesterday morning. I dunno, time zones are confusing."

"Hey, how did things with Louis go?" I wanted to hear her side. I'm sure it went fine, but I needed to check that Caitlin was ok. I cared about her too much to just let it slide.

"All good! No seriously, I said everything that I wanted to say and now we're are all good!"

"Let me ask you something else. Did you still see a future for the two of you?"

"I dunno. But all I know is that I am super hung up on him."

Thank god. My plan was right in play.
