CAITLIN POV

As soon as I let Louis know that he could tell the world about us, I knew that I was going to be interrogated by his management sooner or later. I just didn't expect it to be the minute I walked in from my break.

"If it's ok, we'd like to ask you a few questions." A guy who said his name was Tom informed us as we took a seat on our couch. I had to talk to Louis as to why total strangers had keys to the apartment.

They threw so much at me. I couldn't concentrate. The only constant was the hand that was held in mine. I was told how could in act public when I was around Louis and the boys, and believe me when I say that that list was fairly extensive.

And then I was asked a whole lot of questions relating to me. About my past, my family, my previous education. I did not have any idea as to why or how this related to anything with Louis. I hoped to god that they weren't going to make me break up with him based on my past.

"Well that's all we'll be needing for now. Thanks for your time." Was this a job interview?

The two men in suits stood from their seats on the couch and let themselves out. My face was still meshed in a puzzled look. I just didn't really know what to think or say. I had just been interrogated for liking someone. And it was a lot worse than when you're parents do it.

"Caitlin, I'm so sorry. I had no idea that they would come around that quickly." Louis apologised as soon as the door slammed shut.

As bad as I felt for doing it, I honestly couldn't respond. Not that I was pissed at him or anything, I just was really not expecting that to happen immediately after a fourteen hour flight.

"Is everything ok?" He asked me after I hadn't responded.

"Yeah, just wasn't expecting that." He fell silent, and it was pretty obvious that he was feeling bad.

"Do they have keys to everyone's apartment?"

"Unfortunately yes. But if it makes you feel any better, it wasn't my choice." He chuckled and I couldn't help but smile.

"I'll talk to management and make sure they contact us before coming around next time." He still appeared very sympathetic, but managed to continue a small smile.

I scooted next time him and leaned my head on his shoulder. I guess a more intimate way of saying 'it's ok', but I was also still feeling quite tired. He immediately fell back, his back meeting the black leather with the small thud. He pulled me into his side, and I could instantly feel the warmth radiating from his body. It was times like these I totally forgot about screaming fans and random management people who just should up in my apartment. It was times like these that I remembered how much I was falling for Louis.

LOUIS POV

It was about five in the afternoon, and if I knew anything about jet lag, it was that you stay awake for as long as you can so your body adjusts to the new time zone. The issue was that I didn't know how long I was going to be able to last, but I was actually more worried about Caitlin. Especially after her state on the plane.

"I'm tired." She groaned into the white material of my t-shirt that sat on my shoulder.

"I know, but stay up as long as you can." I kissed the top of her head lightly, in between the couple of knots in her hair. This caused her to grin and return her head to her original position.

"What's happening for the next little bit?" She asked, paying attention to the chipped nail polish that laid on her fingernails.

"Um I think the boys and I have a meeting tomorrow, then I was going to go back home for a few days."
