Chapter 40

LOUIS POV

It was absolutely amazing to acknowledge Caitlin in the crowd, instead of acting like I didn't know her. She seemed happy, and that was what I wanted, as cliché as it sounded.

I noticed her sitting next to the boys of 5 Seconds Of Summer, as well as some girls who were unknown to me, who I assumed were their girlfriends. Except Luke didn't have a girl by his side, which surprised me, he was a good looking lad.

The show ended, and I honestly thought that it was one of our best yet. Australia had welcomed us with open arms, or open screams in this case.

"Oh dude, that was great!" Niall yelled in his usual thick Irish accent. He had a reputation for saying that or something similar after every single show. Sometimes, it would just get annoying, but I'd give it to him tonight.

I entered our dressing room along with the rest of the boys to see Caitlin, 5SOS and 3 unknown girls. God, I hoped they weren't fangirls.

Caitlin ran over to me immediately and kissed me on the lips, something that was unexpected as I assumed that she wasn't the type for fairly public displays of affection. Apparently I was wrong.

"Uh, get a room." Harry scoffed at us, clearly unpleased with us. But I didn't give a crap.

"So you must be 5 Seconds of Summer?" Liam finally acknowledged the other boys in the room.

"Um yeah, that's us." Ashton stood from his seat, living a very pretty blonde girl behind. "I'm Ashton, the drummer, this is Calum, bass player and vocals, um Michael, guitarist and vocals and this is Luke, guitarist and lead vocals." He signalled to each member as they were introduced. Each of member of 1D shaking hands with each member of 5SOS.

"Oh, this is Claudia..." Calum signalled to a female that sat on the couch. She had long black, olive coloured skin, hazel coloured eyes and a short figure. She was adorable, and really good looking. "...my girlfriend." He hugged her from the side and pull her in close. They looked really cute together, I could see why they were dating.

"And this is Lizzie, my girlfriend." Michael gestured to the brunette that was once sitting next to Claudia. She was now standing by his side, dressed in a black Nirvana t-shirt and a black leather skater skirt. This guys seemed to pick girls that suited their personalities.

"Yeah, and this is Stef." The third girl was finally named by Ashton. She had flowing blonde hair, and a lovely complexion. She wore a blue and white paisley short dress that really suited her skinny figure, and of course, suited Ashton.

"Nice to meet you girls." Zayn greeted the girls before us as we spoke hands with them.

"Don't have a girl Hemmings?" Niall scoffed and giggled a little bit. I turned to Caitlin to see her face fallen, I honestly didn't understand why.

CAITLIN POV

"Don't have a girl Hemmings?"

I almost gagged when Niall spoke. The only thing my face could do was fall, which made Louis look at me weirdly. I knew I was going to have to tell him now.

I hoped with all my body that Luke was not going to respond to that. Or at least not say her name.

"Um yeah I do, but she couldn't make it tonight. She had her mum's birthday party." Luke laughed a little as he informed Niall.
