Has No Time..

Chapter 2

                                 Aaron's POV

       
I hope this year will be different than last year. I want to do better in school and actually keep my shit together rather than not caring at all. I was ready for this year, sophomore year, new year new changes. I walked into the school building to see Gonzalo and Ricardo near the lockers by the vending machine.

"Ric my man!" I said walking up to him and giving him a friendly hug

"Ron my man!" He said hugging me back

"No hug for me?" Gonzalo asked acting hurt

"We know you don't like hugs" I said chuckling

"Right" Gonzalo said patting my shoulder

"I'm go get some water from the vending machine you guys want some?" I said now walking away still looking at them

They both had said no. I was backing away they yelled to me to watch out before I could look out for what they were talking about I bumped into something which turned out to be someone else. I almost stumbled back to saw a girl on the floor picking up some papers and still some what holding onto her laptop. I bent down to start helping her when our hands brushed up against each other and she immediately removed her hand away I didn't think much of it, some people don't like to be touched. She glanced up at me and looked back down to pick up the last of her papers. I was able to catch on to how pretty she was and I don't think I've seen her around here before so I assumed she was a freshman.

"Sorry I-

"It's fine" she said in a low voice. I reached my hand out to her as she took my hand back as I helped her get up and get all her papers organized

"Aaron... Aaron Luna" I said extending my hand out getting all nervous all the sudden not being able to make eye contact with her

"Lizbeth....Lizbeth Martínez" she said shaking my hand looking down and up at me

She shook my hand and I could just feel sweaty our hands were. It was kind of embarrassing but I don't think either one of us cared. We both let go and stood there in silence. I could tell she wasn't from around here or maybe she was I was going to be so quick to judge.

"Uh I'll see you around" I said walking past her to get to the vending machine as I looked I saw her walking over to Clara. How does she know Clara? Are they friends? Clara was talking to Sophia, I hadn't known she knew Sophia like that. Sophia being Derek's cousin an old friend of mine. He moved away two years ago, he got arrested or something he didn't tell me why and I didn't want to ask. I haven't seen him since then.

When I got to the vending machine I could feel someone staring at me. I looked to my right to see Fernando giving me some kind of death stare. Like I'm supposed to be scared. After years of not seeing him we end up in the same high school that was something I was not expecting and it irked me in every way. I made my way back to the boys, they both gave me weird looks, Ricardo actually was, Gonzalo walked away looking more annoyed that ever, what was his problem?

"What?" I asked Ricardo

"I see you bumped into that girl..you should be careful next time" Ricardo giving his dumb smirk like always

"I'm fine, I've never seen her before so what does it matter? " I said looking back as I didn't see her in sight anymore. Part of me hoped she'd still be there

"Did she say you know...anything to you?" Ricardo's asked almost sounding suspicious

"Why would you assume that? She seems harmless" I said giving me a squint of suspicion
