Chapter 24

Lizbeth's POV

Aaron and I walked back to the cafeteria as he sat with my friends and I at the table. Andy was on the phone with Fernando I could see it Andy's face. Andy and Fernando have always been best friends and they tell each other everything so I have a feeling Andy will probably say something to me or not if Fernando tells him not to say anything.

"You two are finally back" Irina said

"Did you find Ricardo and Monica?" Clara asked

"Yes I found Ricardo at the drinking fountain and Monica in the ladies bathroom checking herself out" I said as I did my best not to seem off

"As always" Irina scoffed

"Oh cmon Irina..you're beautiful" I said as I sat next to her. Aaron said next to me as Fernando just glared at him the whole time

"Yeah..so what? You're ten times better" Andy said. Irina smiled at all of us

"Yeah I appreciate the nice comments and all but um...Lizbeth I'll see you at your house later" Irina said as she took a bit into her sandwich

"For what exactly?" I asked

"Just things..I talked it over with Clara" Irina said as she shrugged her shoulders. I looked at Clara as she looked away and then looked at Andy smiling at him. I looked back to Aaron as he shrugged his shoulders.

"So all of you have dates...Andy and Clara, Tony and Sandra, Lizbeth and Aaron" Irina trailed off

"Ah ah ah..Ricardo, Mónica, Irina and Gonzalo are going alone..so you're not the only one" Clara stated

"Andy and I are friends" Clara said as she glared at everyone

"Oh cmon..this isn't at least considered a date?" Andy asked as he wrapped his arm around Clara's shoulder

"Hmm Clara" I spoke up

"Yes?" She asked as her eyes widen of annoyance

"You see Sandra and Tony right?" I asked

"Yes! They barley know each other and are already drooling over...each other" Clara exclaimed

"Actually they're just like you and Andy...very slow slow stage" Aaron spoke up

"Oh yeah and what are you and Lizbeth?" Fernando asked sounding very sassy

"Like wise" Aaron said "So I'll see you tonight right?" Aaron asked. The bell rang meaning everyone had to exit the cafeteria for the next group for students to come in.

"Yeah" I said

"Cool" Aaron said back as he pulled with his arm into his chest and gave me a kiss on the forehead. He walked off as he looked back at me and gave me a smile. I smiled back.

Clara's POV

I walked down to my locker as Andy followed behind me. I thought about what Alexa told me the other night. If I don't give Andy a chance I just might miss out on something that was meant for me. I put my books back inside and shut my locker as I turned to face Andy staring at me with softness in his eyes. His brown hair covering very little of his forehead as he gave me a slight smile.

"Can I help you?" I asked as I folded my arms together. I tucked a strand of hair behind my ear

"I can't believe you said we're friends" Andy said ever so calmly. He was never the angry type of type of person to make things a big deal
