The next morning, I decided to surprise him with breakfast and made eggs, bacon, hash browns and fruit.
Just as I was finishing, he came into the kitchen.
"I thought I smelled breakfast," he exclaimed, rubbing his hands together and taking a seat at the counter to watch me finish.
I plate his food for him before plating mine, and we sit down together to enjoy the food. "What do you want to do today?" I ask and he shrugs.
"I need to film a video and post a picture on Instagram but other than that we're free to do whatever," He says and I nod. I make a mental note to also take a picture for Instagram, but it's obviously way less important than his.
He decides to film a tour of the house, and he asked me to film it for him, which I obviously agree to.
As he starts showing the house, he starts throwing in jokes, causing me to laugh.
So that people watching wouldn't be confused about the mysterious female behind the camera, he grabs the camera from me, showing my face.
"Natalie decided to follow me to Hawaii, pretty stalkerish I'd say," He jokes and I laugh covering my face. I still feel awkward on camera.
"More like David got on his knees begging me to come with him," I joked causing him to laugh. We finish filming the tour of the house, and I'll be honest, it didn't take nearly as long as I had thought it would.
After that, we finally took some Instagram pictures. Getting David to pose one way for more than 2 seconds is like getting a puppy not to chew things. It just doesn't happen.
So we decided to do some touristy things, and I finally got the perfect picture.

We went around to a lot of shops that were in a village and tried on random hats and sunglasses for a while before we got bored.
I decided I was tired, so I jumped in bed for a little while to take a nap, and David said he was going to go ahead and get a head start on editing.
After about an hour, I woke up, and David was nowhere to be found.
I changed into jean shorts and a yellow crop top, and I could see his head at the beach.
I start making my way down there and see David has set up a picnic, equipped with a blanket, pillows, food, and wine all by the beach.
"David," I say and he swings his head around.
"Oh, I didn't know you were awake yet," He says nervously.
"I just woke up," I explain and he nods.
"Down for a picnic?" He asks awkwardly and I chuckle before joining him.
For the next hour, we just hang out, eating the random food he must've gotten from town, and enjoyed each other's company.
Of course, we played around a little bit too, throwing our food at each other, and stealing each other's food.
More like him stealing my food.
I feel as though I've gotten to know David more this trip than I have the entire time I've lived with him.
It's almost like he's letting his persona shine through instead of hiding it.
The sun starts setting, and I lay down to watch the stars come into view as the sun disappears. David lays down next to me, pulling me closer to him so his arm is around me.
He leans down kissing the top of my head and I can't help but smile at the small gesture. Here I was freaking out that I kissed his cheek yesterday, and today he's doing this with no problem.
I look up to make eye contact with him before he smashes his lips on mine.
